Surely the ambition level has to tally with the ability of the teams and players available? Of course it's important to set goals that will stretch you and drive you on but aiming for an AI when you will struggle to make an Ulster final is hardly helpful?

Is this Conair boy being serious...Ardara beat Glenties twice home and away in high intensity league match's. In championship it was twice level at full time, surely you cannot say u were the bettter team in this year's championship especially after your humiliation in county final!! As for your swipe's at League Titles and All-Ireland Gaeltacht's, its not the fact that St. Eunan's hadn't got there full strength team in d county final (neither did Ardara) it was the fact that we were the most consistent team throughout the league and deserved to be top of the table. Most club's ambition is county championship but its not the be-all-end-all (one team can win, can the rest not be successful in other ways! Conair Im glad you think your biggest rivials are st. eunans, you have confirmed to me what kind of SUPPORTER you are - im sure the older / loyal generation wudent share your opinion!! Looking forward to 2010 - good luck all!!!

egue Fnals should be scrapped the team with the most points at end of season should be the outright winners that way there would be more time to play other games u.21 minor etc.

glenties beat ardara in extra time in replay so wouldnt say their much better.this so called golden team of nc has one championship.cant ever remember ardara getting manager outside of club to manage them.WE WON IT SIX TIMES TO YOUR ONE,come back then lads

Paddy 92 even your name suggests your living in the past. Your only as good as your last championship game. Ardara last one was a defeat to N.C, NC made the final and were beaten by the best team in the county st. eunans. Thats what rankings are about. No point making a eject of yourself when the facts are so clear and concise

were not talking about club's past honours, were talking about the best team at present? glenties are well ahead of ardara at the minute at senior level and infairness to ardara they put up a good performance against glenties in the championship and were kept in the tie by glenties gifting them silly goals on both days, over the 2 games even the most loyal ardara supporter would agree that glenties were the better side and ardara just plain and simple were not good enough, and more than likely would have got beat in the 1st round if glenswilly had stoped fighting with each other!!

at the moment eunans are the best team in the county by a country mile fact. glenties and glenswilly and ardara would be next in line along with michaels,
Nobody should be shouting about winning an all ireland gaeltacht when not too long ago we had a kilcar and glen final!!!
None of the big boys take the competition serious anymore.

Althrough i agree that NC are slightly ahead of Ardara, for anyone to put down Ardara's all ireland gaeltacht win is very unfair. As a NC man i would say fair play to them, and i wish our team would take the gaeltacht and League more seriously. Althrough its hard with the League with all the Stops and Starts to it.
The fact is we are playing catch up to Eunans at the moment because they have a more experienced side, NC, St Michaels, Kilcar and so on all there sides at the moment have a average age of about 21. So it is going to take time, but i am sure they will get there.

I would rate ardara and glenswilly well ahead of glenties at the min...This is based on head to head meetings between us and them over the last 3 years where ardara and glenswilly have both beaten us or put up a much better fight than glenties who havent beaten us and got a serious of hammerings over the last 3years.....No silly responses from glenties, this is all FACT.......

Overall I would still place N.C. ahead of Ardara and Glenswilly to me they have a progressing youthful squad gaining expierence with each match and they do have a nice style of football about them very good at linking up passes and taking points from play.

Good style of football pointer????? Seriously quest u now??They play the most negative anti football tactics ever to grace a pitch with 14 men behind the ball or as spillane calls it puke football...

Ah now eunans4ever they don't always play like that they have some good footballers now who are good to watch their a young side with a lot of under 21s..

eunans for ever is correct, they play everybody behind the ball, how is that good to watch.i suppose there will be about 10 glenties lads sitting beside each other now with there lap tops goona have a good lash back now.

I know they played a lot of that style in the two finals against us in 2005 but they don;t do it all the time.

I suppose Eunansforawhile and Paddy92 are entitled to there views, Deluded and all as they are. Thankfully i decided to just ignore WUMs.

I will let my Club do the talking on the Pitch, reached U12, Minor, U21 and Senior Finals last year, God we are terrible

I feel that club football is not all bad in this county, however a donegal team needs to make it at ulster. as for other competitions outside this county the all ireland gealtach cant be ignored Adara, Kilcar and Gweedore all won all irelands within the past 4 years that is more then what can be said for most teams in the county. i feel that Eunans and glenties are stilll the two main teams in the county with Adara the next team to follow this team has under achevid so expect more from patrick gallaghers side this year. Glenswilly and st Michaels also will cause teams bother as will Termon who are in division 1 and should compete. With Kilcar in div 2 there are another team with a huge future but by playing in div 2 with the standard not as high div 1 would suit them beter.
