ondebutton, Have KK not being doing well at minor for the last few years?? as well as u-21?!
tipp had almost the entire team as the AI final last year while KK were missing ballyhale boys and eddie brennan in other words KK fielded a second string forward line and lost narrowly. KK are finished?? you can't say that.

I just hope KK get to the AI semi without being beaten because they'll never be beaten twice in one year.
Gal have proved only one thing under mc intyre, that joe canning is indeed unreal. Lots to prove otherwise and i'd be worried about their tendency to fall asleep in major games such as limerick and waterford in the league and the fade out against na deise last year. Lots to prove me thinks.

I think tipp are the best placed to oust the cats but gal can be awesome on their day and i wouldn't bet against them getting the better of the cats in the "leinster" final. I think it's a year too early for them AI-wise though. I think cork could easily beat gal given the right circumstances and could have last year if things went a little different.

Best under age talent coming through in any county is waterford. May not be shown in underage AI titles but some serious hurlers ready to make the breakthrough.

great year ahead.

586575 hurlinspuds im basing it on a bit of foresight. the KK team is finished and they've nothing coming up-they proved that by loosing to a poor tipp team last weekend. wheras galway have an abundance of underage talent and deserve to be number 1 IMO.

This post makes no sense.

KK are finished and Galway are number one because of their underage talent? What about Kilkenny's impressive underage teams? Do they not count?

Big sacks there's no need to for a comment like that. we're trying to have a serious discussion here and you're post has added nothing to it. hurlinspuds I feel sorry for you if you think cork will get any where near galway this year-JC is better than yer 6 forwards put together. the problem in galway is we've way 2 much talent and in the past we've found it hard to settle on a team but i think this year it will all come together.

Typical gal. Canning might be better than any cork forward but then you have to factor in the fact that the rest of your forwards don't function come championchip time. You still haven't explained why you said there's no talent coming through in KK despite their enormous underage success which is way more impressive than galway's success. Gal have the making of a strong team but build themselves up to be disppointed. If they're that much better than the rebels how did ye only pull away in the last 10 mins last year considering cork only started training properly in feb.
Get a clue ondebutton. KK will more than likely eat ye for breakfast.

How can anyone not have kilkenny at number 1?! Ridiculous. Its like how in football people put kildare or meath ahead of dublin in leinster. Its all about success. Kilkenny have won the last 4 all irelands.

hurlinspuds i still think galway are the team everyone else will fear and i know alot of GAA comentators and experts are of the same opinion. KK are a good team but they still have alot to prove yet. galways better underage talent coming through definetely gives them the edge.
