U genuinely think Barca have more fans in ireland than Everton Villa Leed or Spurs..........

How delusional are you man? I mean seriously......is it cold up there in the clouds?

and your delusional if you think everton have the amount of fans your making out. i was in elverys in blanch yesterday and they dont even stock everton jerseys. so ye, it seems like they sell well. i've seen a hell of a lot more barca jerseys around ireland

No everyone who owns a barca jersey supports them, the same lads often own many other jersies also. I would say that yes there are more everton fans than barca fans in ireland. If you take the posters on here as a demographic, there are about 7 everton fans, and 1 barca fan

true, same with celtic jerseys. not everyone actually supports them. but some do. its still very very rare to come accross and evertone jersey in ireland. the only time i ever come across one is in my mates house. a lot of shops dont even sell them. i see more villa and spurs jerseys around than everton ones. sunderland too

Correction 0 Barca fans, as 32_4_1 has expressly stated that he doesn't support Barca.

Same rubbish again
great in the premiership, but in Europe pure muck
soon as we come up against a European team with good techincal ability they pass it through us and we cant pass a ball 5 yards
Leighton Baines and Billy were embarassing last night
Felt for the fans
That was the worst Everton display since the last time we were humiliated in Lisbon!!
Yet I wouldnt be atall surprised if they beat Spurs at the Lane
Strange Strange team

ps....please, please, please get rid of Ossie
he is clean useless.

Everton weren't great, but they weren't that bad. Sporting prob deserved to go through but they weren't great either, the 3-0 scoreline flatters them. Everton really need Tim Cahill when their backs are against the wall. Look on the bright side though, they are much better placed to finish fourth now that they are out of Europe.

They'll probably beat spurs alright cos apparentely there is a virus in the spurs squad.

Correction breff, make that 6-0, liam is clearly a sunshine everton supporter.

Well actually it does 32, because if the 500 odd people on hoganstand produce a 6:0 ratio, then 5000 would be 60:0

see liam, thats what happens when you leave the muckfest that is the premiership and play a proper team with good technical abilities

except it doesnt work like that master. ill say it again. every sports shop stocks and sells barca jerseys. hardly any sports shop stock everton jerseys so they obviously arnt in demand. you cant find 1 everton jersey on sale in the whole of blanchardstown which has a population of about 100000. i was in the elverys JERSEY shop on the corner of o'connell street and bachelors walk, and ye you guessed it. not 1 everton jerseys. but yet they had a pile of jerseys from some danish team, ajax aways jerseys etc.

now barca jerseys sell in just about EVERY sports shop in ireland and you see them everywhere. wheres your proof that these people dont support barca. did you ask them all. like it or not, everton have very poor support in ireland. sunderland and ipswich have more support at the moment. you even see more bohs and rovers jerseys around dublin

How do you explain Fulham knocking out the reigning champions full of technically brilliant Brazilians?

________

Do Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have no technically good players?

that is a nonsense excuse 32, you have already admitted that people who are not fans buy jersies, yet still base ur argument on the fact that simply because people buy them they must support them! Most irish people support english teams so wouldnt buy another english teams jersey, however, the likes of barca, inter, real are seem as fair game

TheMaster (Mayo) - Posts: 16187 - 26/02/2010 16:33:37    574238

even the smaller english teams like spurs, sunderland, villa you would see in sports shops around the country. most places dont stock everton jerseys. and thats because the demand and support is simply not there. its simple really. if there was as many fans as liam is making out they would stock the jerseys.

all we know is barca jerseys are sold everywhere in ireland, they sell, so they obviously have fans all around the country, just the same way in which they have fans all around they world. in the last few years their support has even grown a lot bigger. if the barca "brand" was marketed around the world the way madrid and uniteds is, they would be the richest club in the world.

ye theres some who'll buy jerseys like celtic and barcas who dont actually support the teams, but there just as many that do support the teams. you obviously wernt on oconnell street after barca won the champions league. and most of the people who gethered there, wernt from catalonia. same, if you go around dublin when celtic win the spl etc. i wonder how many would be out on the streets in ireland, if the mighty toffees won anything
