Darragh Ó Sé retires

Was a great midfielder for kerry, i think darragh made the right call by retireing as time was starting 2 catch up with him. While he could still outfield any1 it was obvious he just had'nt got the legs or mobillity anymore.

For some of the posters on here saying that his all irelands are tainted by not having beaten tyrone are you actually trying 2 say that he won 6 easy all irelands?? If Kerry were beaten 3 times in 6 years by tyrone it was'nt 4 darraghs lack of tring the man was immense in all 3 of those games 05 and 08 in particular he wuda been man of the match had kerry won.

I cant believe he was never player of the year in all his years playing 4 the kingdom it just doesnt add up but im sure he will hardly be worried about this. He'll be a massive loss not just 2 kerry but the gaa as a whole and kerry will have their hands full trying 2 replace him as he has pretty much been a 1 man midfield for them in all his years playing which shows just how good he is.

Massive loss to Kerry, great servant to his county and the GAA. Sorry to hear he's retired although any longer and it could of been injury or old age that would force him to retire. Big gap to be filled but by the end end of the year if not next I see David Moran as his replacement.

fantastic player. any team would be glad to have a man like him spend his career with them. has to be said though, did not think he would hang his boots up this year in fact i couldn't see the day when he would at all! great man though huge loss to the Kingdom.
