one of the greats, but was a very cynical player at times. millhouse (Meath) - Posts: 892 - 17/02/2010 14:15:58 564272 Link 0 |
Definitely one of the greatest in the last decade and will be sorely missed. I would say Cork and the Dubs would be glad to see the back of him as he had some of his best days against them. MARNELL (Westmeath) - Posts: 728 - 17/02/2010 14:18:52 564281 Link 0 |

An excellent footballer, sorry to see him go but he deserves the rest. Tom1916 (Armagh) - Posts: 2001 - 17/02/2010 14:23:16 564291 Link 0 |
False alarm. He's only given it up for lent. He'll be back after the long weekend. Superglue (Kerry) - Posts: 1283 - 17/02/2010 14:24:18 564293 Link 0 |

I heard Jacko say earlier that Dara, Mick O'Connell and himself held the jersey for 50 years between them. That's some going. I don't think Dara was quite in their class but a marvellous player nonetheless thelongfella (Roscommon) - Posts: 66 - 17/02/2010 14:44:32 564331 Link 0 |

I´m devastated. Going to see Kerry play just won´t be the same without him there. One of the greatest players of all time. A FECKING LEGEND. I´ve rarely seen such an inspirational player - despite his advancing years, I feel his presence alone would have been an asset this year - will be sorely missed. He´s been a hero for me all my life. Mile, mile buiochas a Dharragh! lessbull (Kerry) - Posts: 177 - 17/02/2010 15:27:21 564404 Link 0 |
