571671 good man superglue the population of monaghan is around 50000 so you are very correct in your incisive observation that dublin bring a larger crowd than most other counties since they have the largest population. i am sure if croke park was in kerry, the kingdom would also bring a significantly larger crowd than they do now!

You were questioning where the Dublin c'ship supporters are for their league games. I'm questioning where the Monaghan c'ship supporters are for their league games. Nothing to do with either county population. You're as fairweather as the rest.

And if Croke park was in Kerry we'd still wait for the final ;-)

Lads will ye just quit it - I'm sick and tired of this post.

To Joxer etc - Not every Monaghan supporter thinks like Farney/Hardcore etc. so try not to group everyone together although some of the early comments from Mon posters were a bit over the top so I can understand you having a pop.

To Farney/Hardcore etc. - I can understand you going a bit over the top cause of all the people having a pop at the Monaghan county team.

To all the other people: Yes Monaghan were a bit raw at times over that past couple of years, trying to climb as high as they can with limited resources, but they're not the only team so a lot of the comments are a bit hypocritical - There's very few saintly teams out there. - And guess what - We all want our team to play like Kerry but no matter what way they play we will support them to the hilt anyway. Monaghan seem to be trying more open football this year and hopefully it will continue but if they revert back we will still support them.

So everyone please calm down and by the way - I really hope Dublin win another All-Ireland soon.

Goodbye (to this topic)

Well said Superglue. The Sage - I take your point. Just sticking up for my team and fellow Dubs. There were some cheap shots above from Monaghan people. Some points had to be made and now I've made them but comments like yours are restoring my faith now in some Monaghan supporters.

THE SAGE,you can sit there and read about a dublin fan calling your county schmucks of ireland (worte by joxer) if you want, and then hope they win an all ireland thats not the way i roll, ive listen to them year after year about been the back bone of the gaa and without them it would be a disaster, and no other county or club would have a dressing room, nevermind a pitch, without them paying into a match, such nonsense.I let them think what the like, can we win the all ireland, no i dont think we have the panel but we wont lie down like they did two years in a row!!
