I still stand by my earlier post that I saw nothing untoward happen. However word in Cork is that there is a lot of anger within the team about the incident. Cadogan did fracture a tooth and had to have it removed, its not clear whether something happened that the camera did not capture, prior to Cadogan putting Galvin in a headlock. corkcelt (Cork) - Posts: 4388 - 17/02/2010 11:14:38 563925 Link 0 |
Yes Cadogan did have surgery, however the catalyst was Galvin elbowing Cadogan in the face so maybe thats where the fracture happened and not during Galvins attempted eye gouge or whatever. But if it did happen as a result of Galvin putting his fingers in his mouth then all I can say is that Cadogan is lucky he only lost a tooth as if Galvin had got his possible target then he might have left him with a serious eye injury. tj09 (Cork) - Posts: 481 - 17/02/2010 12:41:32 564074 Link 0 |

Always thought Tyrone were a supremely talented and exciting team to watch. Surely they and Kerry are the ulimate footballing sides in Ireland at present. Simply cannot understand rebeltrevs view that they are a negative side. I do concede perhaps that Armagh are a very physical county and maybe that style is not to everyones taste ,but surely all reasonable viewers must acknowledge Tyrone as being every bit as special as Kerry. gaelantrim (Antrim) - Posts: 1616 - 17/02/2010 13:57:21 564229 Link 0 |
