Great news for Warwickshire Hurling! Two most prominent hurling mentors in warwickshire now are in controlof the warwickshire county board and GDA is a hurling man also. Hurling has played second best to football for too long. Finally we will be treated equally.

It just means that Mitchels will be able to monopolise hurling in the county even more. I didn't see the GDA at convention anyway, would have been very interested to hear his plans for the forthcoming year. I just hope the clubs are receptive to the ideas put forward, and i would definitely like to see underage hurling being developed.

Lethal if you are that interested in Hurling and developing it you should transfer to EGB, they are the only club that does underage Hurling and indeed you may get a game for them instead of sitting on Macs bench, just make sure you don't try and come up with any original ideas or thinking may not go down too well. What position did you get at the county senior convention?
