Well done to Macs great win, hopefully this is the year. Casements at it a agin in Holbrooks.
Masters agreed to delay throw in for over half an hour, waiting for two casements players. Game finished level.Four Masters were all set for extra time, but casements were straight out the gate.

That why casements started with 14 players?
Get your facts right before talking

The real st joseph's derby here,
not a clue who sheepsmate is but nothing to do with us! some1 trying to make us look like fools i think!
like to ask him a few questions like who played where last wk and who scored?

anyway, we are just starting up and enjoying ourselves at the moment.
we played our first match beating birmingham uni 3-13 - 0-3 last wk (in what was a poor standard game to be fair).
most pleasing thing was about 70 of us travelling down with even more wanting to travel to our next game
i think with support like this we have a lot to offer the warwickshire set up

I have to say fair play to Macs on their win yesterday, 6pts on Connollys is a massive score line.

Gael2000 - Both sides waited on players, no-one was even stripped out at half 2. Bit of a bad time for the game considering the derby that was being played. But yes we waited a little extra and when some players had not arrived we started with 14 for the first 5/10 mins. A variety of reasons for absences. We lost our player to injury, one more put into full forward line who was struggling and one more in nets. Credit that even with an under-strength team the character shown we drew the game. We would have struggled in extra-time - Sensible from the club to replay. I'll ignore the comment about 'at it again', a throw away remark with no foundation.

FM were togged out waiting on the pitch at half 2. Was only fair to allow time for casements lads get up, so that the game could be played competitively.

Amazed there was no extra time played cus of the amount of time RC lads spent on the floor. FM would have surely finished them off. Fair enough though an under-strength team holding a draw, understandable the extra-time was not fancied.

Thought a couple of the RC lads had great games and clear to see that when full strength they are a decent outfit, shame the gaffer didnt fancy them on the day.

Fair play, I was wrong about Sean McDermotts yesterday. Very good result for them indeed. Just goes to show how Warks senior football has improved over the last year with the new lads coming into the county.

Talk sense we all new we werent that far off from within the camp, people came on here from egb and casements and had a go at mulligan and that the team was finished, in previous years there has been a kick of the ball or a decision or two that didnt go our way. Standard in our county isnt that bad just some people are always trying to put us down but we'll just keep trying to win our next game.

Although i was supporting the scots the warks lads deserved to win. I think twice in the game Connolly's had a chance to score and Mac's punished them with two goals. that's sport. Looking forward to the final hope the throw in is at 2 p.m.

St Marys v John Mitchells at 1.30 in PNH in the 'waterlogged cup' semi final............otherwise known as the Mulligan Cup, no idea about any others but if that game is at that time must be at least another 2 at some time out there.

Tuesday evening and still no fixtures up on the website , it cant be that hard to let the clubs know what is happening on Sunday , Macs lads , who played well on sunday , i know the team played well as a unit but who were the star performers on the day , who would ye give as macs player of the season?

macsforfive, I do believe I am talking sense.

I'll openly admit i gave you lads little chance on Sunday and i was proven wrong. The new additions to your club and to other clubs, noteably St Barnabas have increased the standard in the county. This year Sean Macs won their group games by a single score and struggled against Barnabas in the final. Last year with a weaker team you won the Championship at a canter. Do you understand where im coming from??

As for the old guard of macs being finished, even you must agree that it was the newer players that contributed heavily to your sucess this year. Of your 0-11 scored in the SFC final, 0-7 were contributed by new signings. Fair play for recruiting decent players its your prerogative as a club. But it is wrong to suggest that they have not been so vital to your suceess.

As for Mulligan, he is a very decent footballer. Although i think the lad who wore no11 on Sunday is equally as good.

Yes I seen mulligan in county final against barnabas, good strong player alright, you cant argue with his football cv and any team in Britain would be happy to have him on board!

I believe four masters are playin egb this weekend in pnh in the mick sugrue can anyone confirm !!! if so shud b an interesting game , cant really see egb fielding a strong side , so maybe masters might just have the edge on them !!!

Expect any of the birmingham clubs, possible excluding Macs, to struggle to field this weekend. Its hard enough getting lads out at this time of year, let alone with the Blues v Villa derby on. Lads go weeks on end without games then some eejit schedueles games for these kind of weekends. It stinks of incompetence.

im intrigued as to how people can serve on a committee when they have no experience of working actively within a club??
