12-5 to 1-1, like something you might see in a u-12 girls match. mitchells (UK) - Posts: 33 - 18/10/2010 11:05:25 798438 Link 0 |
is casements and hoey trying to win the league by default?? if thats the way they want to win something theirs no point playing the game... the way they have messed macs round is shameful to be honest they knew yesterdays game was on since last sunday and why not have the decency and tell them your not fielding instead they let macs tog out + im sure alot of their team have wives and girlfriends and families they could of been doing something with them!! magic_johnson (Cork) - Posts: 181 - 18/10/2010 11:14:40 798443 Link 0 |
Magic - Sounds like your ill-informed brain is working overdrive to grab the sympathy vote for Macs - I believe the County Board were aware of the situation, and the matter is in their hands. This is not Casements duty to inform Macs - It is the County Board. And let's be frank, messing Macs around is just an added bonus. It's not like Macs haven't done so this year so far, has it. Every possible alternative to the Semi was given and revoked by Macs, why should other teams bend over when they decide to stroll into town?? Also to suggest Barnabus have been the better team in the league is nonsense. Casements beaten by EGB on the opening day by some margin, but got together and beat Barnabus twice. thesilentone (UK) - Posts: 146 - 18/10/2010 11:38:08 798462 Link 0 |
silentone , whats wrong with you man , why didnt you play the game yesterday and prove yourselves as a top club , instead of trying to get the points off macs without playing the fixture , the original fixture was set and you couldnt field , so macs aggreed to move it to suit you , when the re arranged date didnt suit macs you should have done the same , they helped you out so why didnt you do the same ? no , you though you would take a couple off sneakey points off them and try and win the league by default , listen man play for the points on the pitch , not on the telephone or at county board meetings , you are really undermining your own club here , and also conceeding that you know macs would have battered you yesterday if you turned up , also the county semi final dates were set for months in advance so stop harping on about that one will ya man , you should have said at the original meeting that you couldnt play on that date , its you that has messed up your clubs season , i mean you could have had a good shot at the championship and league double , but you got it all wrong , i really wonder what your players think about the way you have handled things on their behalf ? fair play to macs they have handled everything you have thrown at them , i think they have quite enjoyed watching the way you and your club have handled this season , whats going to be next on the agenda for you ? Moonshine can you tell us here can you see any of the other clubs in warwickshire who are going about the game in the same proffesional way that you do at macs? Can anyone get near your seniors in the next couple of years ? or do you think that you will be getting 6 in row next year , i think the only club who have shown any ambition this year anywhere near that what macs have shown over the last 5 years is Barnabas, they gave you a good old game in the county final , EGB started off flying but failed in the championship , four masters have lost a lot of players this year and also had some key players injured but they are a good gang of lads and will be back strong next year , mitchels dont know if they want to play inter or senior and well casements will be trying to win this years league at the next county board meeting, knowle (Roscommon) - Posts: 82 - 18/10/2010 12:16:33 798501 Link 0 |

it seems macs are up to their old tricks by the sound of things, been very poor for the last couple of years now, looks like this latest fiasco shows how worried they are about their warwickshire rivals. harry_gaa (UK) - Posts: 5 - 18/10/2010 15:21:33 798707 Link 0 |

Success breeds envy, and by the sounds of it a lot of you on here are envious of the success repeatedly enjoyed by sean macs. If you put half as much effort into your own clubs as you do moaning on this message board- especially casements crowd, then you may have a chance of winning a championship or league for once (and not by default) TonyMontana (Kerry) - Posts: 75 - 18/10/2010 16:13:54 798769 Link 0 |

Sean Macs have this year won at Provincial level the u12 sevens and under 16s championship, in Warwickshire the senior and junior championships, under 17 O'Keefe cup and their Ladies the Warwickshire championship and Provincial shield. From an outsiders perspective that is some achievement from a club getting slatted on here. People need to wind their necks in and look to improve their own clubs instead of taking the easy option and criticising others or is it a case your not allowed or can't be bothered to help your own club improve? We had our first win in a challange against birmingham uni last weekend , all going well here in Derby , seems to be a lot of stuff on here about clubs not fielding or showing up for games , we dont really know a lot about the leagues at present we have a few barnabus fringe players with us who have said that there always seems to be trouble in getting some games on at inter & junior and that the senior league is the place to be , with all games being played on time in that league , do you think that we could enter at senior level or will we have to come up through the leagues also when would the first senior games be played next year 2011 , and did you see the new flag on our facebook page that was made for us with a picture of rammie the ram on it we think its fantastic sheepsmate (Kildare) - Posts: 21 - 19/10/2010 08:42:02 799178 Link 0 |
