fred , you are right they have given up on the year , im very close to the squad and i can tell you that quite a lot of thier squad have called it a day 4 this year, not sure if all is good with them at the minute , i know that ther r plenty of good lads in the panel waiting for their chance , and a few of them bailed out barnabas last sunday , i dont think macs will have much to worrie about now in the fr forde , and casements have the league won ,looks like EGB will just be going for the Fr Taffe now .

.interesting casements have won the league have they i think macs might have a say yet.Macs have three to play casements four masters st barnabus,if they win them it will be very close the only team still training this time of the year they usually run up big scores when everyboby is going threw the motions.Still recruiting 4 new players signed iam led to believe going for the junior championship as well 34 at training last week,26training yesterday.

the dancer i didnt realise macs had 3 to play i thought that casements had a walkover against them, that puts a differnet tilt on things, looks like macs will bag the triple then , championship , league & fr forde , my monies on EGB for the fr taffe , it will be a big game vs casements though , do u know when that game is? , macs will b playin games up until xmas at this rate , 3 league , 3 fr forde , at least 1 all britain, thats 7games to play , only 12 weeks till xmas , best of luck to ye in the all britain , the whole of the county should be supporting ye , when is the junior final?

The league table suggests different - Casements with only 2 games left and as far as I know thats against Mitchells and Masters.

great to see Castletown win yesterday ,great bunch of players and some of the soundest and best wexford players of the last decade have come from there .
to see colm morris wining a county medal is fantastic and also anthony masterson a very good goalkeeper.

Amazin night on Sunday. From the golden anchor pub u cud c bon fires burning around Tara Hill, Castletown and Inch. Fire works ans all. Bu best of all when the team arrived on de back of an ould pick up de music started blarin and de whole of Castletown was literally dancin on de cross road at de anchor wit de cup .... Epic stuff ...

Whats the predictions for the weekend st marys v st finbars didnt see the 1st game from what i heard marys started well but faded 2weeks training behind them should be enough to get the better of finbars.Junior final macs v oraihilys seen both of these recently cant see anything but a macs win.Hurling final watched 2 very poor semifinals cant blame the 2 finalists both look as if they have been training hard call but i think mitchels will have that little bit more experience.Shame its played so late in the year poor conditions for hurling why so late.

What was the out come of the fixtures meeting Monday night then? Also any predictions for new committee members on the senior and minor boards come the conventions? I'd say Lethal, Millbrook and Moonshine need to be involved there somehow.

Would have to disagree with you on your hurling prediction. Both teams put up big scores in their semis but the Fullen Gaels lads were playing a much superior team in EGB. Fullen look to have added an awful lot of quality this year and would be strong favourites in my eyes. Experience is one thing the Mitchels lads have over them, but after beating Fullen the last few finals the hunger will be with the Manchester side. My prediction... sorry Mitchels, but 4in a row? Don't think so.

Should be a cracking game though, was in the pairc earlier and the pitch is in fine condition for hurling, once the rain holds off. 2.30 throw in I think.

Fancy Marys for the earlier football game, Finbarrs unlucky the last day but I think extra time would've been their best bet, Marys were cute enough to know they were rocking.

Macs for the juniors, although a few of their players are playing the hurling before so you never know.

Be well worth peoples £3 tomorrow, with little else on elsewhere it could be a great day in the pairc.

the dancer & bishopbrennan, not to sure about your predictions for the junior game, o`rahillys beat a much faniced RC team in their semi-final by 8 points i think,, so they are not to be underestimated, saying that Macs will be all out to win this final after having been beaten in the last two junior finals, should be an entertainng game.

As regards the hurling i am going to go with Fullen Gaels it would be nice to see the underdog coming out on top, a bit like everyone in the county rooting for Barnabus to beat Macs a couple of weeks ago

In the intermediate i am going to go with Finbarrs providing they are at full strenght after extra time by a couple of points.

Macs 2.14 orahillys 0.4 very easy win for macs lot of young lads on show for macs but the oldest one peter kelly the best by far.The hurling was a let down very poor match fullen deserved their win mitchels never looked like winning 1 point second half gave away a stack of frees.The other game marys always on top finbarrs to interested in shouting at the ref and challening every decision.

Was a good game again Sunday and could have gone either way for long periods, 3 late points when you had 14 men made a lot of difference.

What do we think on sundays games ST Marys v John Mitchells having watched marys sunday cannot see them beating mitchells.Casements v mcdermotts willthis be the semifinal we missed casements well up for it feeling hard done by sadly i dont think so even with a full side macs look to strong.Start of the year they looked vunerable made a few clever signings blew everyone away.
