I know its technically not a tv programme but it does get an inordinate amount of air time every year, the Rose of Tralee, cringeworthy stuff I can tell ye.

Best RTE shows - Raw, anonymous, pure mule & the panel (only when dara o brien was presenting)

Has that programme with the lad from gift grub started yet?

Living in north belfast these days so don't get RTE etc!

'I'm On Setanta Sports' was it?

That was Irish and quite funny.

Is Mario Rosenstock on that "that all we have time for" haven't seen it but its supposed to be brutal.

Yeah, raw and pure mule are good shows - must be charlene mckenna - the only good thing to come out of Monaghan ;)

Reeling in the Years is top drawer, and I also like some of the old stuff they show as "filler" - Hands, As The Crow Flies and stuff like that, even Nationwide is good from time to time.

Did anyone see the documentary over Christmas about the national geographic photographer who came back 40 years after doing an Ireland special to meet the people in the photos again and take new photos? It was very good too.

Basically anything that is typically Irish and doesn't try to pander to any of the latest crazes or tries to be too hollywood.
