So far he is struggling to score at Middlesboro, as someone earlier mentioned most of his goals came against lower ranked SPL teams and obviously he is finding it tougher in the Championship. Personally I have nothing at all against the guy and I'd be quite happy for him to do well in Middlesborough but dont compare him to Henrik. bad.monkey (USA) - Posts: 4649 - 02/09/2010 18:13:04 763767 Link 0 |
Don't get excited BigApple its just bad.monkey. One day just to try and wind people up he started a thread under the postername Real RangersFan, he was asked a direct question but forgot what username he was signed in as and answered the question as bad.monkey. Having been found out he subsequently feels obliged to come in now and then with threads either praising Rangers or demonising Celtic. He is neither a Rangers Fan or I suspect even a Soccer Fan he is your original WUM. corkcelt (Cork) - Posts: 4388 - 02/09/2010 18:15:35 763770 Link 0 |
He has actually played in 5 competitive games (1 League Cup) and scored once. He was even substituted after about 65 mins in the game he scored in. As for calling the likes of Larson/Sutton/Thompson rubbish it just proves my theory that you know nothing at all about football or the Scottish game in particular. Sutton absolute class player in midfield attack or defence, Thompson was even brought into the English International team in his thirties because he was so impressive with Celtic and as for Henrik well lets say Alex Ferguson and yourself are at odds on that one. Keep winding away bad.monkey if it makes you happy, I'm only too willing to refute your nonsense whenever the mood takes me. corkcelt (Cork) - Posts: 4388 - 03/09/2010 10:26:36 764104 Link 0 |
BigApple - corkcelt refuses to believe that anyone can support a team for non-sectarian reasons. Sad this attitudes still exists in this day and age. Im sure he will join in the rest of the celtic fans in abusing the young keeper from cork who recently joined rangers. probably wave pizza boxes at him. bad.monkey (USA) - Posts: 4649 - 03/09/2010 13:36:25 764333 Link 0 |
So you are saying they were not rubbish (at least we agree on something) but that they only looked good because they were playing against Rubbish. I still say you are at odds with Alex Ferguson and the overwhelming bulk of the Man Utd. and Barcelona support. Prior to your RealRangersFan episode you had been asking a lot of very basic questions about Celtic and Rangers on different threads, questions that you should have been well aware of the answers had you been a Real Rangers fan. I actually have no problems with Real Rangers Fans one of my pals who I play Golf with is a born and bred Rangers Glaswegian we constantly have the slag and the banter between us, There are about 40 of us in all in a Society that play weekly and about 18 months ago I had an accident and broke my leg, the first lad in to see me was my Rangers pal. I'm not sectarian and would have no problem having a reasonable discussion with any genuine Rangers Fan on either Football or any other issue relating to the Old Firm, however my experience of you is that you are a wind up merchant who has just latched on to this topic in an effort to stir up a bit of controversy. Finally all the lads you mentioned in your post were part of the team that reached the EUEFA Cup Final and were very unluckily beaten 3 to 2 in extra time (after they had been reduced to 10 men) by Jose Mourinho's Porto including players like Deco. This Porto team went on to win the Champions League the following year. On our way to that Final we were made look good by "rubbish" like Celta Vigo and Liverpool just to name a couple. corkcelt (Cork) - Posts: 4388 - 03/09/2010 14:09:26 764380 Link 0 |
