519621 Favourite is Nowlan Park. Great pitch, nice atmosphere when a good crowd, and some great places to relax close by. Also like Parnell even though I can see why people don't! Great atmoshpere when big crowd.Thurles obviously for the big days but a cold old spot in the early year. Healy Park not bad.

Worst ones; never liked Portlaoise, Gaelic grounds Limerick, or Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Did you only start going to Dublin senior hurling game's this year boss ?

I think its only fair to comment on grounds that have been refurbished, or where some effort has been made to uograde the facilities. Im also giving my opinion as a spectator, people who have played on these grounds may have a different opinion.
Some of the most enjoyable places i've attended in recent years would be :
breffni park, cavan. A nice ground with great viewing facilities. Parnell park, a lovely compact stadium with a great atmosphere.
O moore park, portlaoise. Nice stand, easy access Wexford park, as good as it gets for me !!
Semple stadium, despite the traffic chaos ! Gaelic grounds, limerick. Nice all-round stadium

The venues that i dont enjoy attending :
Parc ui caoimh, all the reasons already given ! County grounds, aughrim. Hostile mob!!
St Conleths park, newbridge. Old fashioned stand, poor facilities pearse park, longford. But i believe it has since improved
St tiernachs, clones. A long walk walk on a bad day Fraher field, dungarvan. Bring your thermals

519405 Hmmm, i'm planning to come across and watch the Donegal v Meath NFL game in Ballybofey and hopefully one of the Ulster semi-finals in Clones later on in the summer. I note there is much criticism of the roads in and around both stadiums. Where would people advise is the best place to leave the car?!

Are all donegals games in ballybofey< heading up that way for game on feb 13th,

Worst

Cusack Park Ennis. Complete kip. Pity as it's in a great location right in the town.

How ?,I'd rather sit in the cold rather than stand in the muck and the rain.

Agree with the worst being Cusack park Ennis.
Attended the all-ireland minor football replay in 06 Ros vs Kerry and no better than haysheds !
Now I know like many other co boards they thought they were moving out to a new site but jaysus this was the pits.
Once you were through the gate you were stuck in mud !

The 2 best I am familiar with are Pairc Sean in Carrick on Shannon and O'Connor Park Tullamore.
Both with marvellous new stands - and in addition Tullamore now has concrete terracing almost all around.
Yes parking is an issue but what county ground doesn't have parking problems ?

Thankfully, the hurlers have not yet had to play in Healy Park! Wexford might in 2011 ;)

Parnell park is awful as is newbridge. Navan aint great but good atmosphere. O connor park new stand is superb but the terrace is awful. The best in my opinion is o moore park, o connor park and breffni park! Just a pity cavans so bloody far away! I hear wexford parks the job these days but i've not been!

I honestly don't like Casement Park. It's too open and any form of noise or atmosphere is lost in it the odd time there is a good crowd. As for Antrim games, especially league, most congregate at the stand side and it's even worse.
