Blu, not a lot of parking around the pitch in Newry. Same problem as many other grounds including Breffni !! Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 17/12/2009 19:10:17 516727 Link 0 |
if yer after a good founderin you'll get it in Pomeroy or Carrickmore 365 days of the year... and there a rather large blackey grey cloud hovers between both most days so ye might fit in a good soaking too.... dreary indeed and a trip to Omagh can be pretty similiar. Yeah Slasher, parking seems to be the main problem with most grounds. I suppose theres not much can be done about it as the surrounding areas are nearly always built up. blu (Down) - Posts: 1240 - 17/12/2009 20:04:20 516814 Link 0 |

Hold up Duffy, if your willing to stand on the terrace opposite the stand in DCP you have a smashing view and there is a lovely grass bank in the corner too. hurlingguru (Carlow) - Posts: 1838 - 17/12/2009 21:38:27 516934 Link 0 |

Hmmm, i'm planning to come across and watch the Donegal v Meath NFL game in Ballybofey and hopefully one of the Ulster semi-finals in Clones later on in the summer. I note there is much criticism of the roads in and around both stadiums. Where would people advise is the best place to leave the car?! Tongo (UK) - Posts: 1795 - 21/12/2009 07:31:53 519405 Link 0 |

Favourite is Nowlan Park. Great pitch, nice atmosphere when a good crowd, and some great places to relax close by. Also like Parnell even though I can see why people don't! Great atmoshpere when big crowd.Thurles obviously for the big days but a cold old spot in the early year. Healy Park not bad. hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 21/12/2009 14:53:25 519621 Link 0 |
