i think u are being very unfair to the junior clubs.....its not our fault that wer not as good as the likes or clontibret and monaghan harps??i feel that there should be more junior and intermediate players on the county team as they are not as bad as gggg and boc1905 is making them out 2 be!!!

I didn't say Clontibret had one of the biggest parishes, but they have a huge pick, especially in comparison to a lot of junior and intermediate clubs. So this thread about how good your 'b' team is antagonistic to say the least.

Albert - its mindset to a certain degree - but mostly squad size and financial backing.

Brolly...how can you say that Clontibret can't mix it with the big teams in ulster when they beat Dromore this year and were beatin by only a point or 2 in 06 and 07 by Crossmaglen who at the time would have been seen as the best club team in Ireland!!And no you didnt say that Clontibret had one of the biggest picks in the county, you said that they were made up of about three small clubs!! could you please enlighten me as to who these three smaller clubs may be??

clontibret would have a small pick in co. monaghan when you consider all there under age teams play in Div 2 and there school team play in the 9 a side grade.
The one thing i would say about them is that every kid in the area wants to wear the famous yellow jersey when they reach senor football
