Winner- Argentina. that is if they get it right. if not Germany. if they win it its been coming for a while
Dark Horses- Denmark or Switzerland. maybe Uruguay will roll back the years. then again maybe not. i feel once france are now in it they could go far like the last world cup when they were equally as rubbish
Giant Killers- Slovenia. knocked out russua already. could be dangerous. Chile also

Same as always, Brazil, Germany, Italy, maybe Argentina. Sometimes the home team, but not next year.

Was it ever any different? There have been 18 tournaments, those countries I mentioned won 14 of them, Uruguay years ago won twice, France and England won at home.

If it was horses and form you wouldn't even consider anyone else.

Tell you what, as a small sporting bet for say a token 200 Euro. In the all Ireland I will have Kerry at football, and Kilkenny at hurling. You can have Wexford at football and Antrim at hurling. Whichever team goes furthest wins the bet. Let's face it Nocky, a man like you wouldn't let Kilkenny and Kerry's HISTORY put him off. So what about it? Or how about I have USA for the basketball and you can have England? Sure what is a bit of history. Or tell you what, I will have Australia for the cricket world cup, you can have Canada?

Also of the 18 world cups - If the world cup is in Europe a European team wins if not a South American team wins This has happened 17 out of 18 times.
1958 being the exception so that really only leaves two (unless its a climatic rather than geographical trend)
