It'll be a hard task for Stephen Shannon getting one considering he left school.

They're a waste of the lovely laminated paper they're printed on.

That young 'gem' of a player, Shannon, is indeed still at school, however unfortunately for St Mary's was illegible this year. Very fortunate for the other teams in the competition though.

in the same way ballygalget were a cert to beat rossa in the ulster minor ........

no such thing as a cert in the selection - there will definitely be a few raised eyebrows

Pretty sure that the hurling all stars arent hard to obtain. Im sure i could look good over two sessions if i had a few boys round me who would pass to me and an easy wee whippet to skin. Im afraid in this game of selection its who you know and not who you are which is poor. I could name players who have college all stars who wouldn't even get a game in the Falls park but this would be wrong of me. Easy to obtain

galgetown did i not read in earlier posts, on the Down notice board, that u beat Rossa in a friendly and u were marching on to the Ulster? o how harsh reality can be!!! as cecil says there are no certs. sport is so unpredictable, but good luck to all those who are waiting word.

Rossa were not given a chance to beat Ballygalget. Rossa went in as huge underdogs only to come out with victory after a triumphant battle. Great performances all round from Stephen Beatty, Stephen Shannon, Philip Crean and Conor Murray helped them to win.

Young Toner was the only player from Ballygalget to impress at all.

Paddy heaney's a bit old, dunno how he got an all star, unless he has been doing his work experience down the irish news! No I'm only joking well done to all the lads who won an all star. A recognisation of all the hard work they put in during the year playing the best sport in the world! I would however state I ma a bit disappointed there are no LA Salle men in there. The nephew syas they have a good few handy hurlers and were unlucky to get beaten by St. Marys, maybe a bit of anti city and anti secondary school bias there.
