Grattans are showing some good form this season topping Div 2 and 6 there manager frank carberry is doing something right, it hurts me to say it as a slashers man but carberry could take over from ryan if he can do it for grattans he could do it for the county

Carrickedmond have to be clear favourites in this years championship for the simple reason that they are playing div 1 football and doing very well or so i hear anyway. but if you want my opinion i think that they'll bottle it at the semi-final stage, their not a team that sticks together when the going gets tough.

kilashee are going to be there or there abouts. Peter Mc Loughlin in finally starting to get them to play the way he wants, complete and utter football with a steal that only can be compared to rocky in is hay day, a never say die attitude.

grattans will also be in with a shout. they have had a great start to the div 2 campaign. Donal Kane seems to be doing a good job but rumour has it that Stephen Mc Nally and Brendan Lennon are the real men behind tactics and man management.

From what I know. Donal Kane is the coach but as he is only in his first year of management, the hieracrhy of the club decided it would be wise to bring in a director of football to assisst him throughout the year in the form of Frank Carberry.

Grattans were disappointing in their defeat to Legan at the weekend, they failed to score a free from six or seven attempts in the first half and managed only one point in the opening thirty minutes, hardly championship winning form and it's surprising they were undefeated up to that game. Their best forward, Gerard Victory was injured and did not play but they will need much more fire power if they expect to win anything this year.
