Result was inevitable, well done Portumna...your on yer way to your 5 in a row..... Only for Ref gave Loughrea soft frees they prob wouldn't have scored at all....at the end of the day thats how they got there anyway....evryone knows that. Mullagh would have given ye a better cleaner game anyway, but thats for 2010.

I think it's fair to say portumna are the most illustrious hurling club in the history of the sport.it's mindblowing to see 8 club members as panelists on the senior side when you consider the strength of hurling across the county.it's portumna that keep people dreaming of that first liam mc carthy since 89' & the likes of joe ollie, ollie & damien hayes.C'MON LADS,LET'S HAVE A RIGHT STAB AT IN IN 10'.

luker, pick up your bag of turf and scram back to your fellow biffos.

Ye surely have enough problems of your own back there besides trying to rise rubbish here.

we have run out of words to describe portumna's current team, they are truely exceptional and if they go on to win A.I. title will go down in history as the greatest club team to ever grace the hurling fields of ireland.

Joe Canning had a quite game by his own standards, might want to watch out his place could be under threat with the emergance of young Ronan Madden

Luker, what in the name of God has any of this got to do with you? So what if the Loughrea lads didn't go drinking in Portumna. Where in the rule book does it say the losing team must celebrate with the winners? What two Loughrea men should have walked? Now f off back to biffoland and comment on your own rubbish hurlers.

Its a tradition that the losing finalists visit the winners for a drink on a night following the final and if Loughrea did not do this they are a disgrace. Even after Loghrea beat Portumna on '06 the Portumna team went to Loughrea the following night including O Canning.

Only 4 loughrea players travelled over on Monday night. 1 of them wasn't even a current player. Bad form!!
