Do you have a life or does your "partner" work on sunday`s leaving you at a lose end...? Maybe a youth club or a legion of mary branch might pass the time on for you? Here`s hoping night night.. keyster (Tyrone) - Posts: 43 - 08/11/2009 18:53:44 478806 Link 0 |
Trillick actually did bring back silverware to the county with the ulster championship, as always poor Fermanagh people and irvinestown people do not have a clue about the GAA. He was probably disappointed that the wanderers game was put off yesterday as they were afraid of getting wet and cold. You got to feel so sorry for them rayk67 (Tyrone) - Posts: 193 - 08/11/2009 19:06:53 478825 Link 0 |

Dromore were disappointing today, they had the opportunities but gifted Clontiberit a lot of soft possession. On the day - the best team did win and Clontiberit are a good side, but this was not the best Dromore has to give. Dromore has had a few lucky escapes this year against Errigal, Coalisland and Ardboe and maybe their luck had been spent over the season. On the other hand with the 76 years Dromore has been playing football, they have won their 2nd championship this year. It is disappointing today but it has been a good season. It shows how far Dromore has come that only 6-7 years ago Dromore had neither a senior football league of championship, that they were favourites going into todays game. They will be back, this is still a young side and the trophy cabinet is not empty. John Boss (Tyrone) - Posts: 865 - 08/11/2009 19:58:06 478884 Link 0 |
also i was just looking on the fermanagh page i would just like to say that Malachy O Rourke who is a fellow Tyrone man has called on another Tyrone man to be his right hand man to try and give fermanagh a "decent" name. In my eyes Fermanagh has a soft spot for tyrone! FaceThatBall (Tyrone) - Posts: 140 - 08/11/2009 20:01:57 478890 Link 0 |

Dromore are not quite sure themselves. However, the rest of Tyrone know why, especially, Ardboe . The simple answer is that Dromore aren't good enough county champions to represent the county as they stole victory from the lough shore cowboys in the dying seconds in what only could be described as a miracle! The Monaghan representatives, Clontibret who are not that well rated, made Dromore a Tyrone look poor to say the least according to a report on Monaghan radio. Through the eyes of an independent observer, Dromore and indeed the county are living in a falsehood boosted by upbeat press reports! You lot will most likely will rubbish my posts on here, but you know in your heart that what I'm saying is correct! So what now for the great Tyrone county that came back from Croke Park with their tails between their legs as losers this year. Well if their representation in the Ulster Club SFC is the best the county can offer, then the county itself is heading for extinction from the All Ireland championship. lrvinestownGael (Fermanagh) - Posts: 847 - 09/11/2009 09:21:54 479121 Link 0 |

credit where credit is due, Clontibret are a really good outfit and just managed to eek out the win on the heavy sod in clones yesterday. i hope they can bring the ulster title to monaghan, i would be the first time in many years. emylott (Monaghan) - Posts: 63 - 09/11/2009 16:20:40 479511 Link 0 |
