it's hard to know what murphy will pick. lets hope he does a better job than he's done with gort this year hs's really stuffed that up.

Murphy wins minors with galway because anybody can, the teams pick themselves. His record outside of that is terrible. Winning a minor with Galway is not a reflection of the manager - anybody could do it.

i've heard it all now! you're obviously just trying to wind people up but great teams dont guarantee success - there has to be a good manager to man manage the players, make them believe they can win and also pick the right balance. there are plenty of good minors in Tipp wheres all your recent minor all ireland success using your simple mindedness approach...sure it's only an all ireland I suppose...

with the underage talent in galway it wudnt b too hard for anyone with a hurling background to win an all ireland with them.. but are we developing the right kind of hurlers? the majority of our minor teams have been small, neat, wristy hurlers.. do they have a physical side to go on to senior?

i think we loose alot of good hurlers between minor and under 21 some of it because of the trial system they have to do in galway some guys get peed off when dropped when they are performing at the trials. plus you still have the favorite clubs that have to have a player on it. then you have a mananger telling members of the panel not to play with their club. CLUB or COUNTY which comes first???????

Galway minors play kilkenny next weekend. Kilkenny rate the team this year highly and see it as one of their best in years. Looked very comfortable against Dublin and won easily. The winner of this will more than likely win the All Ireland minor title.
