After today's 2-0 defeat away to bottom of the table Portsmouth Rafa in his post match interview displayed all the hallmarks of a man resigned to the fact that his position as boss at Liverpool FC is hanging from a tread.
Liverpool Football Club are a club in serious trouble and I'm sure Liverpool fans don't need me to tell them this. How many time this year has Reina been beaten at the near post, Johnson is not good enough, Carragher 600th appearance for his club today but alas he is past it. Agger and Insua not good enough,Kuyt doesn't score enough to warrant his place. Mascherano let his team down today not for the first time. Lucas waste of space IMO,Dossena I wouldn't have him with the reserves ,Gerrard and Torres failed to perform today and Liverpool had nobody else as backup. Subs: Cavalieri, Aurelio, Benayoun, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Skrtel.

Rafa will not be sacked because the owners are not prepared to pay Rafa to go.

The only way Liverpool are going to be safed is if Rafa will swallow his pride and put the club first and walk.

More than just a little bit ironic yes, and as a Liverpool fan of many years I admit I would sooner turn over the TV and watch Eastenders or whatever, than suffer through one of their games at the moment. Whatever became of "pass and move", now its "lump & hope"?
