Why?
_______________

Because Liverpool have now lost 4 games in a row for the first time since 1987. Because he continues to fail with his tactics. Because he ran Alonso out the door. Because he wasted millions on substandard players.

Rafa gets 20 odd million for alonso, what does he do with the 20 million? he buys a Crock! a sick note! who only played 14 games in Italy last season due to injury and still has'nt kicked a ball in the premiership yet.

I think its time Rafa stepped done for the good of the club.

Heard Rooney not fit to play Liverpool at weekend. Ferguson is putting on a beachball instead of him.

Look at the players he has.You would'nt win Roscommon and District League with that lot.

he's bought some very good players=reina, torres, alonso, mascherano, reina+kuyt+benayoun(kind of!) but the rest(and i mean all of them) were a waste of money as they just were not good enough to win the premiership! even with that aside, his tactics are a joke!he doesnt know what to do with gerrard! soon to be 5 losses on the trot????!!!!!..pack yer bags!

fredrickwood County: Roscommon Posts: 1218 461068 Look at the players he has. Fred and I are in agreement on this one. Who IS going to do any better with that lot? You know I believe soccer is fixed, and that they let Liverpool win in 2005 because they were about to disappear off the radar, and MUST be in a European league, due to the fan base. So it is hardly a surprise. Two yankees out for a quick financial killing, caught by a recession and now in serious trouble. And they lost their best player, for money. And a poor panel. If they lose Gerrard or Torres they are in deep trouble. Even City who have just started are ahead of them, without Robinho all year, and lost Adebayor, Bellamy, Cruz and have Ireland on the bench. So Rafa has not got a lot to work with. So why panic and sack the manager, Hasn't done Chelsea a lot of good, and it cannot be a coincidence that the TWO teams who have dominated the premiership have KEPT their managers during the bad years.

i dont no if they can afford to this, but i think liverpool should just right off this season, let rafa stay till the end of the seaon and then let him go but start looking for his replacement now.no other manager can do a whole lot more with this squad, alot of changes need to be made but mid season is not the time to do it.
liverpool for the FA CUP!!C'MOOOON!!!!

He's going nowhere. No way the owners are going to buy out his contract.
He's in charge for at least 3 more years. (God I hope I'm right!!).

Will it still be called the "Coca-Cola championship" then I wonder?
