I think the only way Pearse Og wil beat the galls will be if they bring a physical approach with and try and squeeze st galls.

As I said before, there are no weak teams in Ulster and in an amiture sport it is all on how the team clicks on the day. ope St Galls win but there are no easy games.

Congratulations to the new Ulster IH Champions St Galls from a North Antrim Fan. Also I would like to acknowledge and congratulate the South Antrim underage teams who have shown great heart in building the hurling up this year. Well done mentors, coaches, players and parents. I have just started reading 'Cody' and he states that 30 lads improving together for the sake of the team, for each other, for coaches and for the club that has given them so much will achieve more than a team of 'individuals' who have only their own interests at heart. Lets work as a team NA, SWA and SA, lets build a better future where each and every club teams is better the year after than the present year, where the county teams (Hurling, Football and Camogie) are moving forward / upwards year after year.

Thanks to everyone who came to support us today, particularly the St Teresas folk who stayed behind, incidently a big well done to them for progressing they way they have done.

Todays win for us was very important as we were struggling with injuries to key players, some of whom had to play, plus others who had been suffering from flu. Thankfully Ronan Clark was also suffering a little too and did not play to his best. But a win is a win, so well done to the lads and we have another week to get players fit.

Well done St Galls & St Teresa's, Unlucky Ahoghill. Thought St Galls played within themselves. Turning point in the game was when Clarke was through on goal & failed to pass or hit the back of the net.

I don't think they are up to much to be honest. Bunch of mercenaries.

Yes Lofty, Rory has joined his cousin playing for us. He was looking a team in Belfast to help him maintain his county challenge. Played well yesterday, best player on the pitch the first half. Looking forward to Clontribritt, no such thing as an easy Ulster semi final, and recently St Galls have not made things easy for themselves.

Well done to St Galls and St Teresas today, good wins. Thanks to the Antrim supporters who came to Armagh today to watch us, particularly the Cargin folk who sat beside me. Delighted our team clicked at last and we gave a performance worthy of our favourates tag.

Bit of a hollow victory considering the fact that the St Galls man that oulled the strings was born and reared over a 100 miles away from the Parish if you ask me.

If I was an Antrim Gael i'd certainly be holding my head in shame at the fact that the best club - by far - are packed full of players from outside the county.

and the fact that Mr Gallagher said this "We won Antrim pulling up probably and it takes a while to get going." would make me hold my head even lower with the shame.

"packed full of players from outside the county" in CheFinny speak = 2. Well done St Galls, 8 years on the road at the top is a good team in most peoples books, but not everyone can take an Antrim success gracefully.

Great to see Ronan Gallagher doing so well, as a St Galls man I am proud of the fact that we as a small club from the middle of West Belfast can attract such talent. But I am more proud of our home grown talent. It is not easy to keep a squad of young players together and to get them to give the commitment required for top class football with drink, drugs and other distractions all around them Another reason I have a lot of support and sympathy for the sterling work the likes of Gortnamona do and the areas in which they do it.
Ronan did play well yesterday, however the best player on the pitch by a long shot was Kevin McGourty who was continually fouled and antaganised yet rose above it to give a commanding performance, closely followed by his brother Ciaran and Terry O'Neill.
But well done to all the Galls team and I hope Lenny has a fit squad to pick from for the final.

You are 100% correct Chefinny, over 100 miles away from his place of abode, have to travel through 3 counties to get to it, and run out of road as a bonus lol.
Has this man an accomodation address in the City, and another player for St Galls, lives and works 45 miles away, and was born in Fermanagh too, ie. no ties with the " City" since he finished his education, but Im sure he has a granny address too in Belfast.
This situation has to be addressed at a high level, Kerry do not permit a combination team to take part in the Munster Club C'ship, ie South Kerry won this year but are blocked from taking part, hence O Rahillys, a club team are taking part. So how can a team packed with outsiders make up a St Galls team to compete, glory hunters all.
