The day I take advice from a Monaghan man is a day I'll remember. You should concentrate on figuring out how to get Monaghan to an All-Ireland semi-final like we did twice in the past 3 years.Come back to me then!!

Was he on the Dundalk Schools team that won Leinster in 2002 I think it was? Always thought he was a good player, presumed he must have given it up.

muinachean abu..we have seen a huge swing in your comments from the monaghan page to the louth page. Estimated to be 21% turnaround.

As for that meath poster whose only purpose on this is to sing praises for Ian Mc Manus, i think he would do us a favour if he turned around and kept his nose in his own county.

I have a few suggestions

Our Stefan(who won all of his medals in monaghan)
Stephen Melia
Nudie Hughes

Those men would have more pace than certain louth players

I think if we're looking at serious contenders for louth squads, botth senior and junior,we need to look at who has performed throughout the year. These are just a handfull of players that come to mind when i think of those that have performed well for their clubs.
Eamonn McAuley (Na piarsaigh)
Mark McGeown (Clans)
JJ Quigly (Clans)
Derek Maguire (DYI)
Mark Brennan (Mattock)
Daniel Bannon (Mattock)
Kevin Rogers (Mals)
Ronan Greene (Mals)
Jason Clarke (Mals)
Ronan Holcroft (Fecihins)
Peter Brenan (StJosephs)
These are just a handfull, but all i think aer worth a go!
