couldnt understand why they were saying on tv that gooch didnt play well, thought he was instrumental in an awful lot of kerry scores, and as patrique said he did very well with all the ball he got, bringing a sense of calm to the whole team.

hard to look past walsh for motm, for his scoring exploits, which seemed to come at very important times for kerry,

think tom o sullivan will push him fierce close though, won a heap of hard ball back there when needed.

Very hard to choose a man of the match. Tom O'Sullivan, Tommy Griffin, Tadgh Kennelly, Paul Galvin and Tommy Walsh were all brilliant. But I think Walsh shades it!

Has to be big Tommy, I didnt see many of his train like runs this year though, but his shooting today was top notch
Tommy Griffin deserves an honarable mention

On a side note I really hope that Tom O'Sullivan doesnt get it, dont think that he is that good, Corks corner forwards are average so he looked better today and also I don't like the guy at all, him or Aidan O'Mahoney, I couldnt quite put my finger on it but I see their occupations are similar they must send out the signals!

I can't believe no one has mentioned Seamus Scanlan.

So for me:

1. Seamus Scanlan
2. Tom O' Sullivan
3. Tommy Griffin

Three players that wouldn't be the popular ones but three that every Kerry supporter I spoke to said were our best and deserved it.

Is this the same Tom o' sullivan, whose man scored two points and should have had a goal?? I wouldn't even have had him in the top 3

Tom O'Sullivan stood head and shoulders above everyone yesterday. He had some game. Scanlon, the unsung hero was his closest contender.
