hurlingfan i dont agree with your exclusion of shane kennedy, everygame iv seen him this year he stole the show and was probably da county final man of the match... possibly the best young hurler in the county.... does any one know why hes not on the louth panel???

shane kennedy was prob man of da match in county final,da reason he's not on louth team is cause he didnt want to be ,he said he was concentrating on his football,he only played wit knockbridge after they were out of da football.

Think its supposed to be a team from just this year, so Johnny Carter couldnt be on a team of the year as he was injured all year. Otherwise I'm sure he'd be on it. Didnt see any matches myself this year but I doubt Aidan played any better than Ronan Byrne did at centre back.

Yes its just TEAM OF THE YEAR Johnny was injured and aiden only played one game as far as i know an missed the rest through injury.

Yeah he plays full back with the fechins and has done for the last 2 years. Has been one of the best backs in the county but hasnt gotten any sort of call up to the county squad. If you watched every hurling match in Louth you'd know him. Think I'd have to be doubting your credibiliity.

i seen 2 championship games he played in
he held paul donoghue scoreless against kb and aidan carter only got a point off him for the tones.
and clancy its pretty hard to see every championship game seen as most of them are played on the same day?
and in everybodys post there was definitely a few odd selections aswell
