Favourite second county and most hated rivals?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Favourites : Galway. Me and the wife were in the Skeffington Arms on the 3rd Sunday in September in 98, and the craic before, during and after was mighty. Always found Kerry people excellent wherever i've met them.

Don't hate any County, but if it was ever going to be tested i would say that 75% of Mayo posters ( possibly WUMS ) on here would push me to a dislike there, along with the wee runt that spat on my shoes when i passed him in Ballina this year.

Your grand Orlaith, no need to apologise, it was just funny and strange to hear someone from one county who is such fierce rivals with another actually claim that county as their second favourite. If I was to claim Westmeath as my second favourite county Im pretty sure my mates would never let me into Tullamore again.

Good man REDROM, no need for the hatred. No need to bring that kind of stuff into the GAA, a healthy rivalry is what it's all about.

Always have had a soft spot for Down & Donegal - due to their all ireland wins in 91 & 92 when I was 8/9 years old and began to appreciate Gaelic Football.

Least favourite would be Cavan - due to proximity on the Fermanagh/Cavan border.
