so are jarlaths that dad. you could see it coming once the boarding went. as a former st.colmans college student i was delighted when we won the connacht title last year. however got beat by an average st.marys in the all ireland semi. so the question is connacht football really that poor compared to the others. ok jarths have a great history and all that but pulled in lads from mayo and else where. colmans and geralds dont seem to be able take the step up either.
it could be a while before a connacht team wins the hogan again.(i hope im wrong)

Oh my God... Jarlaths must be at an all time low losing to a Mayo team.

Farmer 2, you know nothing about football thats obvious. The previous Jarlaths teams that were succesful were backboned by Mayo men. At under age Sligo have won two Connacht minor finals, one was as a result of an objection. They have won ZERO U21 titles. They have won three Senior titles. That wotks out at one and a half per century. So its obvious that you hate Mayo. We are worried! Get over your spleen, either a Mayo man was your boss (delete which applicable) at school?Garda/workplace. Or else some Mayo woman ditched you. Either way pal all your doing is attracting attention to the sad plight of your county. Stick to that other joke ...the Sligo Rovers. Enclosed is the Jarlaths All Star panel from three years ago. Goalkeepers-Johnny Geraghty, Eugene Rooney. Full Back-Enda Colleran, Sean Downes, Tomas Tierney, Henry Gavin. Half Back- Pat Donnellan,Declan Meehan, John Morley R.I.P, Joe Earley. Mid Field-Jimmy Duggan, Jimmy Lyons, Padraig Brogan, Half Forward- Michael Donnelan, Sean Purcell, Seamus leydon, Mark Butler. Full Forward- Padraig Joyce, Michael meehan, Peter Solon, Morgan Hughes. Nine are Mayo men, ten if you include Claremorris native Duggan. Still looking for one Sligo man, either too thick ot be educated there or not good enough.

It is a pity the jarlaths.ie website was not restored. It was great for past pupils keeping up to date with the current school activities. Could someone with the correct information post up the time, date and venue of championship matches. It is always good to see the current SJC team in action at some stage of the championship. Best of luck.
