What will Jarlaths be like this year now that Pats from Tuam are wit them. Who is in charge? Heard Terry O Regan quit after one year in charge?

Not sure about Terry quiting but the senior and junior teams are supposed to be good enough this year. Also I heard something about that young armstrong lad moving to jarlaths to play for both the seniors and juniors. Can anybody confirm this for me please?

Anyone think the end of boarding schools is doing no favours for Galway football at all?

The likes of Jarlath's and Mary's are now losing to schools they would never have lost to in the past namely Gerald's in Castlebar. Like it or not these two schools were the main nurseries for young Galway footballers. The same effort and time isn't put into developing the skills these days.
