Impressed with the centre back for the minors today v New york.. Shloeboy (Galway) - Posts: 7 - 09/05/2010 21:21:37 642056 Link 0 |
though o curraoin played really well when the game still had to be won in the first half and midfield were strong otherwise impossible to tell hardly a hand laid on most of them when going for goal or point. But not too sure about the keeper, kick out wasnt great and ny goal showed lack of authority in his own goal mouth , needs to be more vocal sean55 (Galway) - Posts: 83 - 09/05/2010 21:52:21 642089 Link 0 |

In no way were the starting 15 the best 15 minor footballers in galway. Ok, some would be on that list but others...i duno. Might get past Sligo, not a hope of winning a Connacht title. Where's Rob Kelly?? Padraig Cunningham?? They're just two examples, I could name more. joel (Galway) - Posts: 45 - 09/05/2010 21:56:58 642100 Link 0 |

i thought the center back for galway was awful. he was ran through time and time again. very poor in the tackle. would hate to see how he would get on against good oposition. full back also suspect. good midfield and o currain was very good at 10 as was rabitte in the corner. we have the makings of a good team laser (Galway) - Posts: 230 - 10/05/2010 09:50:36 642154 Link 0 |

ah niall quinn is from tuam 69r. you sound like a classic case of sour grapes that didnt make the panel. get off your high horse just cause your from a big club and dont like being shown up by BETTER players from smaller clubs. laser (Galway) - Posts: 230 - 10/05/2010 17:27:45 642847 Link 0 |

too right other clubs got a chance, for too long big name clubs dominated the galway panals. However I have seen a lot of cases where players from lower division clubs dont even get a look in. throughout the years we have missed out on serious footballers cause of this. e.g. adrian murphy kilconly. hoganstandman (Galway) - Posts: 33 - 10/05/2010 18:47:36 642952 Link 0 |
Ok ok maybe im being a bit harsh.. lets go with 13 lads from Corofin and two from the west. Would ye deem that as fair? :) 69r (Galway) - Posts: 102 - 10/05/2010 20:00:23 643044 Link 0 |
