Is Gerry fahy a good manager? scraped past sligo last year and hammered by mayo. In my opinion he made some questionable decisions by starting Cunningham and Flynn and leaving one of the sweeneys on the bench for them games?? Also this year now Cathal Walsh of St James is a very good centre back or fullback and would nearly of started but he was dropped. Now Luke Nolan and Conor Hickey got dropped. Both are arguably in the top 3 minor keepers in the county. Three or four lads who have 2 years left in minor got dropped despite them being better than lads a year older who couldnt even make there tedwebb teams. Only time will tell if these decisions were good ones. Mountbellew for FRANK FOX 2010!

Football4life2 granted the 3 players you mentioned are good footballers what in your opinion gives them the right to make a county panel without triall..
there is allready some top class players in the panel at this stage and the 30 or so lads have gone through terribly hard training for months with county and schools..
what gives them 3 players or any players an excuse?

because they were playing enough football for the time of year. you loos hunger training for a distant goal anyways(training in september for a championship in may) them lads will get their chance soon enough because from what i remember gerry fahy was ringin lads to join the panel in april last year. that was without trial so things will change.

its true to say niall quinn and enda fleming deserve a go at least to show what they are capable of which im sure gerry fahy is aware of. However i dont see the need to worry about players like rob kelly not being called up as to me hes not quick enough or all round good enough for this standard of football but thats only my opinion. Aside from that, did jarlaths lads like Conor Keady, Adrian Varley, Gearoid Armstrong andEanna Bane not get a trial?Has this team played any league games so far if so what sort of lineup was it?

I was talking to Jerry Fahy the other day, and says I to him 'Gerry...how ye fixed?'. And says he to me, reffering to the old irish proverb, 'Any man who owns a cow can always find a woman to milk her'. Not a great team.

lads whats going on here with gerry fahy a few bizarre decisions to cut players like luke nolan, eoghan o regan, cathal walsh and christian lomboto also the training regime 3 or 4 times a week for 8 months for what is in all honesty a side no better than last years.. the way of cutting players by means of a phone call is also ridoculous, if the players arent good enough id say sayin it their faces would be a better way. not to mention the debacle with the jarlaths lads...
