Any ideas on which team/stadium in Europe has the best athmosphere for a game, especially derbys? Was at the Seville derby a few years back in Betis' stadium and the noise and passion was unreal!! Heard that some derby in Athens is ment to be mad, Panathanaekos and Olympiakos I think??

I hate to say it but the best atmosphere i have been part of was at ibrox. The stadium holds less than celtic park but it is very enclosed and the roof keeps the noise in. My ears were ringing for hours after it. plus we got beaten 5-1

I would imagine Fenerbache V Galatasary would be up there. Both teams have a genuine hate for each other and Galatasary and infamous for their "Welcome To Hell" banners and flares Below is just ridiculous scenes at one of their matches

i was at a lot of games in europe but liverpool v united at old trafford stands out aswell as real madrid v barcalona and spurs v arsenal.i heard celtic v rangers is good too

Have to agree with Rex. Was there when we beat Juventus 4-3 on Hallowe'en night 2001. Magic the atmosphere was just electric. It brought tears to my eyes.
