Has anyone tried P O'Kane Hurls in Swatragh? I know our county and others have been using them for a number of years now. A first class Irish made hurl and nice to play with. bigjer (Down) - Posts: 2 - 11/12/2009 19:44:55 511271 Link 0 |

ion fairness the problem with o'conner hurleys is that the handle is too thin and is therefore hard to grip, theclawhammer (Wexford) - Posts: 240 - 29/12/2009 15:31:25 521973 Link 0 |

Ya have used a lot of hurleys and find o'connors the best provided you can go and pick out the hurleys yourself. They do vary a lot but you will always find 3-4 that will suit what you want. I wouldn't recommend buying them in bulk though because you don't know what you'll get but if you go and pick them out yourself, there will be no problem. They have a big boss, are well balanced and the handle thickness varies so you can pick to suit yourself. utd (USA) - Posts: 150 - 09/01/2010 11:54:17 528640 Link 0 |

Take your head out of your **** Steel. I put you back in your box before and by god i'll do it again!!! In fairness best of luck to Kilmurray as they are now representing Munster in the club c'ship. Hows ever, provided Clare get through there Munster c'ship game v Waterford, lets see how ye fare out against Limerick in the Semi... You might be a quiet boy after that game. Wrong post for this thread lads, sorry but some1 has to quieten this t**l. By da ways Steel representing your county in Tiddly Winks doesn't count. Lads Steel must be a bored secondary student at home during the day snowed in and unable to get out of his frozen farmyard, all of is post come during the day when most people have better things to do!and as for 'playin for Clare' he migh have......but personally I wouldnt count playing in an under 14B hurling blitz as inter county hurling! Oh and reguards to Limerick not having won an All Ireland since 73? Since you obviously havnt won a senior All Ireland yourself, you seem to have forgot the 3in a row for the 21s, our minors reaching an All Ireland a few years back, our u16s reaching one last year and not to be forgotten that our minor Camogie team WON the All Ireland final last year. shanahan in clarina or burke in upperchurch. good, strong, well balanced from good ash. most of the rest make them too brittle in my opinion. theripper (Limerick) - Posts: 122 - 24/01/2010 20:54:03 541335 Link 0 |

Shannahans in clarina, makes a Hurley to order. Very personal service. I used to use o'connors but i broke 3 in a match one day all around the handle i also had one break when pulling on a ball. freetaker1 (Limerick) - Posts: 758 - 30/08/2011 09:39:04 1022503 Link 0 |
