I was the second person to post on this topic and said that "St Kiernan's, Moindreag and the NLS" will be the ones to look out for this year. So my personal congratulations must to Heston on a fine year in reaching the final. As I tipped St Kiernan's early doors I'll stick with that choice in a tight match, and I've a feeling in my water that it will be a mighty game.

This has the potential to be a great climax to another season in London football. And seeing St K's and HG's with their panel's containing a good amount of London born lads is a fine thing to witness. Best of luck to both sides.

As I have said before I have a feeling this could end up a draw, maybe Heston to Shade the replay. I see the Irish world have done a preview..

Well done to Heston getting this far and good luck to them in the final. just think that the Kiernans will be a step too far, a bit more quality on the field and bench. kiernans 5+

Well I started this tread, I had Kiernans ranked 1 and Heston only 6!

So would be in my eyes a massive upset if Heston done it, from the start of the year anyway!!

i think it will be a very tight game with two very good footballing teams but i fancy heston to shade it 1-10 to 1-08. think the joes and tcg to win theirs too so all champs going to west london this year i expect!

Finan, After reading your comments this week (funny how you just started posting this week), thanks for proclaiming how great Heston are and easy you think we are going to win on Sunday. But you are clearly not a member of our club, as everyone within the club knows what a tough task it is going to be this Sunday.

Good luck to St Joseph's, TCG and all teams in action this weekend, even St Kiernans...but not too much!!

Kiernas won fairly handy yeasterday, took them a while to get to grips with the gam going 1-1 to 0-0 down in the firs 10 mins. but pulled it back to win by 7 points.
fair play to both teams, was a good game to watch.

Macattack, you said you would reveal yourself if (when) your team won the championship?? are you a Kiernans man??

Saw the Championship Final yesterday and it has to be said St Kiernans walked it...Heston scored a goal with the first kick and then only two points for the rest of the game and SCORELESS IN THE SECOND HALF....Kiernans just had to much all over the pitch....they could even afford to miss a penalty and a shocker of a miss from that small strach fella and still won by 7points...fair play to Heston but just not good enough. If you believed the hype this game failed to live up to it...it was way to one sided after Heston scored their quick 1-1 with the wind...St Kiernans still went in ahead and took over.

It seems to me that Mr Finan from Tipp was very much WRONG wasnt he.....the passion and the commitment, the drive and the desire...what are you on???? they could have done with you...you talk a great game.

I wouldnt say they walked in Rover. It was very tense upto the last ten mintues when there was still only 2 points in it. I think the score was 1-2 - 0-7, thats when Kiernans got their goal and effectively killed the game, then added another couple of points.

Kiernans were derserved winners, but I still thought it was a good game, has to be said Heston were very wasteful infront of goals as the 2 points would suggest.

Tipped Kiernans from day 1, so my status as HS UK most knowledgeable post is confirmed!!!

Think the Joes will give Kiernans a good game in the playoff as I thought they played very well in the junior final.

And Londonladdy, no not a Kiernans may will have to wait another year for the big unveiling, but probably longer.....if ever!!!

Just reading back on previous posts....i remember a very Silly Mr Mucker from Donegal......well you were PROVED TO KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT WHAT YOU FELT THE NEED TO COMMENT ABOUT....this town is ful of people like you......

Mr Macattak....i agree that maybe to say that St Kiernans walked it, might ne a bit harsh...but i agree with both match reports in the Irish World and Post, they certainly never looked like losing and were by far the stronger team...but they had not streched their lead to an unattainable advantage until the goal killed off the challenge of heston.

I do hope Heston bounce back next year and we see those lads playing.
