the game is on at 5 in ruislip, should be rather entertaining, which ever team wins is through. a draw could leave things wide open!! LondonLaddy (Tipperary) - Posts: 85 - 30/07/2009 14:36:39 369870 Link 0 |
Dont like to agree with a lady but I will on the scoreline only, think it will be a bit tighter, no more than 3 to St. Kiernans overseas (Donegal) - Posts: 108 - 30/07/2009 14:58:48 369928 Link 0 |
Semi final time. Heston will beat North london by five if they get a good start otherwise NL can take advantage of a poor Heston defence. Moindearg and Kierans will be a great game with the winners going on to win the final. Like to see North London get their act together and play like they can. Can Moindearg must keep the heads and stop pressing the self destuct button like they do every year? londain (UK) - Posts: 5 - 04/08/2009 20:41:48 377672 Link 0 |
was anyone at the Heston v Kiernans game, I know a few people tipped it to be tight but no one actually tipped Heston to win it, and after it does anyone give Heston a chance of winning the title? Last couple of years they were talked up big time but failed to deliver in the close matches, this year everyone has remained quiet about them and they could be dark horses. Btw Kiernans not quite through yet, realistically they should be but not quite there yet. Rosineri1 (UK) - Posts: 2099 - 05/08/2009 09:22:04 378388 Link 0 |
Dont worry rosereri1, cant see them having too much of a problem against you boys overseas (Donegal) - Posts: 108 - 05/08/2009 11:51:58 378696 Link 0 |
well you'd think so, but we do occasionally manage a big performance every now and again, am sure the Emmets said the same in the hurling a few weeks back. But would be a major upset for us to win. Rosineri1 (UK) - Posts: 2099 - 05/08/2009 13:08:33 378878 Link 0 |

ok i have made up my mind, having a look at previous results ( i know some will say that previous results mean nothing but s*r*w you haha) Im going for kiernans to beat moindareg as they have beat them twice already this season. Im also going for Heston as they seam to be on form, beating the Kiernans and topping their group. then the final will be Heston and Kiernans but i couldnt call that!! Is that you Conor ? No - I'd have them as very slight favourites over Kiernans. But Kiernans have a great forward line ! Lazarus1 (Galway) - Posts: 173 - 13/08/2009 14:55:03 390711 Link 0 |
well if it is he cant spell his name right. The name is pronounced Con-eeee-leeee in the west of ireland. Or sometimes even con-no-lee as in jennifer connelly, although it can also be spelt connolly. pronane (None) - Posts: 324 - 13/08/2009 15:16:32 390746 Link 0 |
I'll go for a Kiernans Heston final, just think Moindearg have failed to deliver when required before and could have a bit of a mental block, maybe Mattie might get a sports psychologist in! In the other just have a feeling for Heston, haven't been talked up this year and have been going well whilst Shamrocks have not captured the form they were in last year yet. Would liek to see Shamrocks go through though. Should be two cracking games though, Paul I will need you to text me the results as I'll be away!
