Headford beat Monivea 2-12 to 2-8 a poor game alot of mistakes two goals Headford conseeded were comical,Headford need to improve,if Monivea were fitter they would have won,the winners play Annaghdown or Mountbellew who were to play today,Ballinasloe beat Caltra friday nite another poor game,Glinsk in Semi final, fancy Glinsk as Ballinasloe are not fit ,rely too much on duel players and are too young,Glinsk to be the final

Annaghdown beat Mountbellew last night 2-12 to 0-9. Semi finals are now as follows: Ballinasloe v Glynsk and Headford v Annaghdown. Any thoughts on the possible finalists?

3 of the 4 teams are clubs 1st teams with annaghdown the only club seconds to qualify for semi's, grat credit to mick curley/donal casserly and the rest of annagh's backroom team, they scored 2.12 yesterday , a score everyone would have to respect in mucky conditions, alot will depend on how many players they will lose to their 1st team but headford should account for them in any event. glynsk have come along nicely and will fancy their chances against a weak but improving st grellans, hard to call a result in this one ... a draw perhaps ??.

What a load of rubbish Annaghdown beat a bad Mountbellew side alot of them are past it,in what was bad conditions,Annaghdown have no.8,9,15,which are good,no 15 covered alot of ground,if that young lad is not drafted into senior panel, their backs were never tested,Annaghdown were behind at half time by a point,Mountbellew could only score 2 points,Fancy Headford to beat them, does anyone know anything about Glinsk, how good they are or Ballinasloe side, why or how could they be weak, does anybody know the date for semi final or North Board final, who will win?

If there is another mess up,8-9,15-16 Aug are supposed to be hurling weekends, will Annaghdown or Ballinasloe be involved in champioship hurling, duel players, not that it would affect Ballinasloe as they are going nowhere in junior football,a final between Headford and Glinsk,Glinsk winning, does anyone no what Glinsk are like, are they hiding in the long grass?

hillson that is wrong.the rule is that every second week is football so football clubs have priority on them weekends and week days.if a club, say ballinasloe, want to call off a game coz they have hurling, the other club can refuse on the grounds its a football week.
as for glinsk there is absolutely no way they will win the championship.id be surprised if they get within 5pts of ballinasloe.

Annaghdown they have intermeadiate hurlers are they still in the championship.Glinsk are waiting since the 5th of July for semi final, they will be fired up,Ballinasloe havent got past a quater final in many years, does anyone know how far Ballinasloe can go if they beat Glinsk.

HILLSON will ya stop talking muck like a good lad one week your biggin up ballinasloe

"Ballinasloe are rellying on Young players,Gabriels even had a weekend with Micky Harte in Tyrone, whats this about a poorly organised Ballinasloe team, they have been training hard, are very fit, plenty of Challenge matches,a cmmmited group of lads who want to win a junior title. The lads that played last Sunday were excellent, there was plenty of good subs aswell"

and the next your puttin them down

"not that it would affect Ballinasloe as they are going nowhere in junior football,"

its clearly obvious your one of d players as when they are questioned you snap to defend them but when it gets close to a game you big up their opposition, good lad keep it up youve us all fooled

Thank u for the coments Palestine,im not a player, have no connection with any team left in championship,a neutral observer, like the rough and tumble of the GAA especially junior football and also I dont like to see the players who train so hard and commit to it al year been wronged in any way,I never played football, its a great game, there is no harm in putting my view to the public,I wish any team left the best of luck, thanks,im originally from Mayo but im not blowin up their chances of winning All Ireland, its all for the love of the GAA,id sooner go to a good junior game than watch Senior, that is why i was at Annaghdown and Mountbellwe last Sunday the junior champ match.
