Bowsie:

Ballinasloe's half back line was immense I thought. no.6 kept quinn quiet in 1st half and did a a great job on Bodkin in 2nd. Wing Backs were always on the attack and giving options for the midfield. Tuams midfeild won more clean ball in the air, no.9 partically but Ballinasloe were alot sharper to the breaking ball. Cunningham had a better game for bsloe and was alot more involved in their attacks. bsloe were great from frees no14 very good off the ground. Tuams no3 had a good game and was proberly tuams best defender on the day. Ballinasloe were missing Alan Mcdonagh in midfield due to him being on holidays. Tuam I dont think were missing any big players.

Ballinasloe to beat Monivea by 4 points.

I reckon MB have a serious chance this year!! They hammered moycullen!! Although moycullen were terrible and most B teams wud beat them MB looked physical fit and some very good forwards

i reckon that salthill are the dark horses for the championship as they are already in the semi against MB and they have 1 of the strongest squads in galway, there only problem is playin as a team but if they get that right.......

That a pretty big problem throw it over!! A team not playin as a team is a huge problem

Id be amazed if Salthill were to do any good in the championship this year. Lettermore beat them last wednesday in a challenge and they deserved to win too. Salthills shooting was awful, they missed way too many easy scores. Dont think they will have a chance when they come up against the likes of MB's.

Heard about the Lettermore match, also heard that not 1 Salthill man played well at all and they only lost it in the last few minutes. Salthill also managed to beat Moycullen last night despite missing 7 starting players because of the hurling championship.... and ya i no, its moycullen, but 7players is a lot... And I think if they beat MB they will go on and win it outright, if not, the winner will definitely come from west, CG aren't the same force without the Cunningham brothers and Corofin are over-rated because they're Corofin, and don't forget that Kilanin got to the minor county championship final last year with basically the same panel and lost to a v. good Corofin team

Everybody said corofin, claregalway, or tuam for the north board minor A... yet tuam are out and either corofin or claregalway will be 2... 2years ago monivea-abbey came form bein no good 2 north board champions... dont rule them out dey have some good players if any of ye no them already....

shamsocks5, there is no doubt the possibility of monivea reaching the final but realisticly that is about all they can hope for. if they want to win some silverware they must improve big time.look at the league, they are coming rock bottom having lost games to corofin by 10 points and to cg in a game that should have been cancelled, the score was 4-12 to 0-3!!! i know there is a huge difference between championship and league but the gulf between the two isn't that big. reckon either corofin or cg to win the north, playing ballinasloe in the final
