claregalway were lucky enough to beat headford. headford were 3-3 to 1-4 ahead at the break and should have been further ahead.claregalway were well on top in the second half though.good game to watch.

went to tuam-ballinasloe game.had to be the game of the night.Easily 6 or 7 good players on show.no. 14 on either side v. good. ballinasloe 14 was great on frees while tuam's was very fit and ran all game.the county minor players didnt shine too much.looking forward to replay next wed night in menlough i hear! be worth going to watch!

bodkin didn't look on form for tuam.missed a lot.quinn was out missing through injury but came on late.didnt do anything.centre back and full back for tuam played well.thought full forward was well able to handle the job even though one of their smallest.ballinasloes best were full forward and midfielders.

ATH CINN FOR LIFE - to be honest annaghdown result isnt that surprising really. The fact is that they fit into a common category- too good for B and not good enough to compete with the top teams in A. However monivea seem to be a fairly decent outfit. The two semi finals should be good games with corofin and claregalway evenly matched and the same can probably be said for monivea and ballinasloe/tuam.

And in response to another comment theres a shaughnessy for both ballinasloe and tuam I believe.

Wer was P Cunningham playin for ballinasloe? The replay should be a great game hard to pick a winner. Is most of this Ballinasloe team underage again next year? I know they had a very good u16 team last year.

no.15 , actedas a 3rd midfielder in the first half .true . yes a lot of them are . similar to Tuam who have two u-16 on the starting team and 10-12 starting players altogether who will be minor next year .

Was at the Claregalway vs Headford game and Headford put in a spirited performance but just didnt have enough quality players!Reece O Toole had an outstanding game leading the team from full back nd bagging a point or two!And with the way the galway minors went out on sunday with neither of their midfielders able to field the ball, surely Hansberry and Carey should have been on the panel! They had a brilliant battle in midfield with both plucking numerous kick outs!
