3 wins from 3 and still some people aren't happy ? unbelievable ! then again....some people are never happy with the success of a club but prefer to focus on their own selfish agenda !

It's absolutely hilarious that there are lads coming on here having a pop at Tony Kearney. I said it at the start of the year that the Fechins would win Junior handy enough because of him and I still believe that. His record speaks for itself and I can't understand how he can be questioned. He is without doubt one of the best managers in Leinster. The sad thing is the Meath Co. Board saw fit to give the Meath job to EOB when Tony kearney was the obvious choice.

RobK, if Tony Kearney was that good of a manager, he'd be managing a senior club be it in meath monaghan or louth wherever not a junior club in Louth

Come back when you know what you're talking about. If Tony Kearney wanted to manage a senior club he would be (after all he left the tones by choice) The fact is he chose the fechins as he obviously sees the potential to not only just win junior but to get the fechins back challenging for a senior title. Now if he does that after what he did with the tones it would be some achievement.

Was at the Dunleer Stabannon game league game last night. 2-18 to 0-04 win for Dunleer. Stabannon seemed to be missing a good few but Dunleer just ran through them all evening and would think that they have 6-8 players on the score sheet. Hard to understand how Stabannon ran the Fechins so close.....

Still Dunleer cud be out of the Championship if they lose to the Mochtas.

RobK... he must be the only one who sees that potential. The Fechins havent got senior football in them for a long long time. They would struggle at Intermediate.

Okay the Fact is if he wanted to be managing a senior club he would ...... What senior club in Louth approached him to be manager this season?

Joe_don your right. He's obviously not a good manager cause he has taken over a junior team in louth. Afterall the basis for judging a manager is what team he takes over and not the fact that he has won 18 league and championship titles with his previous club in six seasons.Fairly bad return, only 3 titles per year.Good point joe_don

does anyone know who won last night between the Clans and the Wolfe Tones in the Junior 2A Champo... The louth website is showing a draw, the round format is showing that Clans are through to the semi's and in the match details that the Wolfe tones won by 2 points.

Junior Football Championship Group B

St Fechins V St Kevins Ardee 05/07/2009 19:45 Damien Murtagh - Fechins to win
Stabannon Parnells V Dowdallshill Cluskey Park 05/07/2009 19:45 Gabriel McKenny - Dowdallshill to win

Interesting round of fixtures this weekend in junior. Both groups very competitive. If Dunleer lose they'll probably be out - tough one for them against the Mochtas. Seans and Glen Emmets hard one to call as well. Will be interesting to see how the Kevins get on against the Fechins seeing as they were well beaten by the Dundalk YI.

Anyone any views or comments
