I'm honestly not very excited about this game. Sure, I will watch it but I cant see any promise of being one to remeber. In my opinion its a way over hyped Derry team who always seem to flop come the summer months. Hopefully they will prove me wrong and the game will be great but, I cant see anything but a Tyrone win. An easy one at that! Triple H (Meath) - Posts: 551 - 15/06/2009 16:36:54 312173 Link 0 |
I can see a tyrone win to myself. It should be a good match just a pitty about the venue Doireegurlie (Derry) - Posts: 337 - 15/06/2009 16:45:47 312188 Link 0 |

this should be a cracker between 2 of the very best in the country, really should be the final when you think of the other side of the draw , this is the ulster final so the stakes are high. millhouse (Meath) - Posts: 892 - 15/06/2009 17:30:15 312293 Link 0 |

niamh you say all this stuff 'if you ask me' etc etc. . ballinderry are the top club in derry and to have our players leaving the panel would be disastrous for derry. kevin mcguckin probably one of the best defenders in ulster and ireland, niall mc cusker well everyone knows his undoubted talent, enda muldoon one of the most skillful and gifted footballers in ireland and that's no over exaggeration, his footballing brain is top class. now for you to come out with bravado with statements like 'yawn'. derry will go nowhere without the mighty shamrocks contingent end of story. ballinderryman (Derry) - Posts: 98 - 15/06/2009 18:36:45 312417 Link 0 |

Ballinderryman, there will only be one Ballinderryman on the panel for Sunday so I don't think there will be a big a dent as you are led to believe. Also, I'm sure Niall Mc Cusker and the lads aren't too happy about their club making their decision for them and taking away their chance to play for their county. I hope it doesn't come down to it, but I think they are just empty threats. Niamh (Derry) - Posts: 2397 - 15/06/2009 20:19:15 312519 Link 0 |
and you know why they are a top club Ballinderry man... wise_guy (Tyrone) - Posts: 1584 - 15/06/2009 20:37:41 312539 Link 0 |
All this talk about Ballinderry pulling their players is seriously overstated. Should it happen it will leave one hole all be it a big one in the defence for Sunday. However I believe this team is growing up and learning not to focus on who is not playing and instead believing in those that are. Derry will win on Sunday . Should Ballinderry pull Mc Guckian out it will galvanise the rest of the team and many great players in ballinderry will not be too happy with their own club because it will be easier to pull their players out than to get them reinstated and that I am sure they are well aware of. derryman (Derry) - Posts: 3246 - 15/06/2009 20:44:22 312547 Link 0 |
there would be a lot bigger holes in the derry defence if the ballinderry boys were playin derryman.niamh you seem to be in the know re derry camp what about the legendary one national league holding medal PB is he finallygoing to show up in a big game or will he wait for limerick in the qualifiers. derry have only a holding and pulling not a football chance on sunday love. reddoctor (Tyrone) - Posts: 1241 - 15/06/2009 21:45:46 312636 Link 0 |
