It was a hard hitting game and i would say it would have been an enjoyable match to watch. an_baile_nua (Tyrone) - Posts: 224 - 05/08/2009 23:49:31 380321 Link 0 |
Newtown game was very well won. But during the first half Newtown lost their heads and went in, down by 5. However in the second half they came out storming and blitzed Loughmacrory. Was an excellent game of work rate and passion from both sides. Gaelicmatters (Tyrone) - Posts: 5 - 05/08/2009 23:51:22 380328 Link 0 |
Loughmacrory newtown game was a credit to football in tyrone. Great game, this has set up a great rivalry and now that both teams are even in bragging rights the door is wide open. joedon (Tyrone) - Posts: 79 - 06/08/2009 02:19:55 380459 Link 0 |

That incident wasn't seen by the referee therefore the loch player didnt even receive a yellow, but fair play to the newtownstewart player as he played on as if nothing happened and had a good game. an_baile_nua (Tyrone) - Posts: 224 - 06/08/2009 23:33:47 381965 Link 0 |
The result the other night just goes to prove that Newtown are a better side than the Lough in a tight game. The Lough are flashy and play well when things are going their way. But when the chips are down and it gets tight they lye down. They wont won anything this year. But Newtown have a great chance going by this result the other night. Donaghmore will have very little bother with the Lough in the Championship. There could be 5-8 points in it. Id say it will be between Newtown and Donaghmore or Adrboe. Beragh have improved greatly and could also push for a league title. redhandfan1 (Tyrone) - Posts: 76 - 07/08/2009 10:27:23 382272 Link 0 |

Lochs overated. I hope Donaghmore destroy them in the Championship. Two_Left_Feet (Tyrone) - Posts: 130 - 08/08/2009 14:55:41 383871 Link 0 |
