naomh muire set down a marker. 5-10 to 0-9 win over wat would be there biggest rivals in 1a.

i was in attenance at the naomh mhuire vs kildres game, an yes naomh mhuire played well an deserved to win MM_NM...
but i on't feel the score line does the game of football it was justice, i know this may sound harsh but from a neutral perspective 4 of the 5 goals were probably the keeper's fault who had an extrmemly poor game, dropping the ball into the net, but the defence look weak on the wings...
kildress didn't do a lot wrong in the first half , the goals ruined them an they never used the breeze in the second half, excellent saves in the first half from naomh mhuire goalie, any other keeper an kildress would have found themselves with 2 goals.
Interesting to see how they will respond to Cookstown in a derby at home next week..

francis1 has a point..

cookstown are a changeable team this year and give errigal a good match. conor mc ileer is missing from kildress next game against cookstown .. it'l be an intresting match i'd say cookstown could come out with a win but kildress could want the points more..

in grade 2 with one match played beragh, loughmacrory and galbally all had convincing wins but i believe loughmacrory will do the double and either beragh or newtown runners up, beragh who were beat by eskra and drumragh convincingly in friendlies but having beat greencastle on thursday by 7 points they could be hard to beat. in grade one i belive Naomh Mhuire will win grade one A with either killyclougher or omagh winning Grade one B. ive heard alot about killyclougher this year and i belive with good commitment from their players i think they could be a force to be reckoned with.

Carrickmore seem to be a hugely improved team however lets see how they do against Omagh before they get their hopes up...again 1B appears to be stronger thn 1A

Grade 1- Carrickmore, Omagh but the real favourites have to be Naomh Mhuire. Kildress might be a team to fear but not much of a threat.

Grade 2- Stewartstown, Donaghmore, Loughmacroy or Beragh all very tough teams but have to say Loughmacroy. Also think Galbally could give it a good run.

Grade 3- Eskra. Plain and simple its Eskra going to take everything.

Grade 4- I dont much grade 4 teams but i know killeeshil have a strong team for grade4. You cant predict grade 4 football anything could happen in that grade.

redhand??

1b stronger than 1a?? naomh mhuire and clonoe are probli two of the better teams in this whole grade. omagh and carmen are only two good teams in 1b. i would be surprised if any trophies went outside these 4 teams. it looks all set for a naomh mhuire and omagh scrap for the league and championship.

Naomh mhuire were very poor against kildress i thought. if kildress had a half decent keeper and naomh mhuire keeper hasnt made 3 gud saves the match wud av been really tight. even still good win adn they look strong 4 league and championship

after seeing the results and hearing from people at the games in grade 2, my predictions hav changed

loughmacrory and newtownstewart not as good as both teams felt they were, along with greencastle.
loughmacrory has a poor keeper which could dent their chances of titles. newtownstewart had a very poor game and never got going, need a lot of improvement for a chance of winning. and greencastle although missing a number of players will struggle. although they have some high quality players in the main positions they are very weak outside of these players. i still dont believe beragh are good enough to be considered as contenders, having only beaten a weakened greencastle team by 7. augher are a one man team from what ive heard with them being very dependant on sean hackett playing well in order for them to do anything. galbally however are the team thats suprised everyone. looking back to this team at under 14s they were beaten in a semifinal by a late newtownstewart goal. a strong side not to be ruled out at all. ive a feeling they could possibly be the team to beat.

still havent heard from the other side but i would think that 2b is stronger than 2a

In saying that 1b is stronger than 1a, i still believe Naomh Mhuire are the best team in Grade 1. However Clonoe are a poor side and there are no weak teams at all in 1b.

If you really think clonoe are a poor side then you should think about changing sports cause you have not got a clue about football!!!!

fuppin i wasn't building up my team i only was saying that they aren't a bad side i never actually said they were lethal and were going to win anything.
