I risk being accused of bias here but if you are around the Monasterevin area call in and see the new Ballykelly facility it has without doubt the best pitches I have ever seen and I have been all over the country. Most of the local clubs have been in to have a look and were amazed by the standard of the project in general log on to www.ballykellygfc.ie and get a preview, they are due to open in about 4 weeks ballyboy (None) - Posts: 36 - 12/09/2009 20:52:49 424148 Link 0 |

Birrbuck, Athys pitch is terrible! For me its Radley Park (Leixlip) or celbridge home ground jasonkaka (Kildare) - Posts: 22 - 26/11/2009 23:23:58 495643 Link 0 |
i played a challenge match in radley park, leixlip and i thought the pitch was top class. i also had a gander at your gym. dear god i wish we had something like that here in Carrick. LovelyCounty (Leitrim) - Posts: 69 - 26/11/2009 23:55:38 495700 Link 0 |
The pitch is in such good nick as it is not abused during the winter months sexyface (Kildare) - Posts: 175 - 27/11/2009 15:06:14 496103 Link 0 |

Birrbuck you clearly havent played in Athy. A bog would be a better surface than it jasonkaka (Kildare) - Posts: 22 - 02/12/2009 10:15:13 500344 Link 0 |
The Naas facilities are top class. But the pitch is shocking. During the summer it's like a car park and during the winter it's like a bog. Athy's is much the same. Rathcoffey's pitch is one of the best. Leixlips is also up there as is Celbridge's. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 02/12/2009 11:49:24 500446 Link 0 |
the worst has to be suncroft the pitch is a disgrace and you have to get changed in a glorified caravan, robertstown is pretty bad too. Naas and leixlip are top class, nurney has a good setup too. eireman (Kildare) - Posts: 13 - 02/12/2009 14:39:24 500629 Link 0 |
