Do Monaghan possess the x-factor

Well if there is a god at all we deserve some sliverware,(anglo celt cup)for the brand of football we play alone, might not be everybodys cup of tea but if you stand back and let teams like kerry and tyrone run round you your gonna take a beaten .We did this against tyrone in 2007 and lost an ulster title because we stood looking at them for 40mins and the lead was to much to peg back, against kerry we got stuck in from the start and should of won just very unlucky. An all ireland is very unrealistic, an ulster title would be just reward for this group of players who have given everything since 2005 just hope the get the luck they need.

To answer your exact question SQUIDWORD monaghan are not a bad team , They may even go on to win the all ireland, But in all fairness i could hardly imagination a team less deserving of the title X FACTOR. Or was that just a wee joke thrown in there to keep us on our toes.

Take the 6-1 on them to win ulster. Great value.

Cork still not at full strength. Cussen still out. One of the nemo guys hobbled off at club match at weekend. Pearse O Neill played for Aghada but was very quiet and looked lacking in match practice. Miskella could only manage 15 mins for Ballincollig. Canty and Lynch are ok though .

think if monaghan can find a bit of support for freeman they might do well, dont know if hanratty is the answer though, but they can give anybody a run. lack a bit of belief and need a bigger scalp than derry, to push on from the past couple of seasons. made the mistake last year of working too much on their conditioning and looked a bit too big as the smaller more mobile fermanagh found them out. will be fit for a very slow derry though and after that who knows. 6-1 is a bit short considering that they are in the same half of the draw as the reigning ulster and all ireland champions.

Only if x-factor contestents wear straw hats with their county colours tied around them... Only joking lads. That's just the bitterness over recent contests coming out!
