Thanks Passer by, I never realised Ronaldo played in last year's final.

Oh, sorry he scored, marked by a make shift full back who in the second half and in extra time dominated the game, while still marking Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is a good player, but was very disappointing in the final last year.

In fact the entire final was disappointing. What are the two most memorable moments in most people's minds?

Two penalty misses, one by Ronaldo, one by Terry.

look 32_4_1, if you wont liten to any1's arguments then I wont listen to you

Patrique, why does a penalty miss make some1 a bad player? Baggio, Cantona, Pearce and Romario are just some who missed penalties and were still exceptional

actually i meant it was 9 goals in 33 appearances in the premier league but when he was with sporting it was 3 goals in 25 appearances. ever worse.

also in ronaldos "great season" last year he also had many extra games over messi as england have the league cup.

i just saying there is an extra competition for ronaldo to get goals. messi dosnt have that option. and i dont follow united but dont really care. but the truely great players dont need to be rested. their drive to win carries them through every game of every season. ronaldo is more worried about what hairstyle he should choose

When you have to go paying referees to win you games, things can't be good.

I don't see how you could rate Barca ahead of all the European superpowers like Juventus, Chelsea, Spurs, Celtic, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Benfica, etc.

thats because against united and liverpool he had no support but yet was great against united. against chelsea they won and messi made a show of them. got their left back sent of at stamdord bridge. i think it was del horno. they started trying to break his legs in that game and against chelsea this year played as playmaker. barca are gonna win every la liga and champions league and if messi dosnt score is always involved in the goal

I didnt get to see the chelsea barca game until a couple of hours ago. Plain and simple it was an utter disgrace and makes uefa look like a terribly corrupt and biased organisation. There was without question, and no ifs or buts, 3 blatant penalties. I am a united supporter so i I am happy to be playing Baraca as I dont think they will be able cope with the intensity utd can play with. Getting back to the game though Gus Hiddinks fear of going out and playing football against what he belived to be a superior team also contributed to their defeat. He is supposed to be a great manager but didnt have the belief in his players to urge them to go all out and attack. Ferguson will not fear Barca and with the players he has he shouldnt fear them. If utd are beaten I will happily admit that Barca are the better team but if they win there is a few posters on here who seem to think they know a hell of a lot about football who are going to look very foolish. 32-4-1 all this talk about messi, if Ronhaldo goes out and scores a couple of goals will it help you belive he is a far more effective player. Rooney is the difference barca havent a player who comes close to him for his work rate and hunger.

Like I say, this Barcelona team would get destroyed by the Borussia Dortmund team of 12/13 years ago.

Andreas Moller is the greatest footballer of all time. Vision, Playmaking, Passing, Tackling, Scoring, he had it all.

Indeed the current team would probably beat Barca out the gate. How a player of Dede's calibre only has one international cap is beyond me. Throw in the likes of Frei, Kehl and Hummels (next Beckenbaur) and you can understand why I think they are as good as Barca.
