For those who are disliking Greencastle at the moment,
could you please stop mentioning the place.
It seems when certain posters are bored (nothing happening in their own townland)
they mention Greencastle, just to get a response.

Simple answer to your problem.

I know this sounds a little stupid, but if Greencastle don't play great football, what does this say for yous, I missed your point

why should that sound stupid?? i have never made comparisons with soccer on any of my messages but i will now. dont arsenal play the best football in the premier league?? but what have they won recently?

im not saying moortown played the best football in division 2 but what i am saying is that they are a better team to watch than greencastle. so in a nutshell bobby, just because greencastle got promoted by finishing 2nd it doesnt mean they play good football. (which they dont)

as for dellboy, urney hardly set the world alight with their ability do they??

moortownspuds County: Tyrone Posts: 215 Step back from the edge there guy. Arsenal play the best football, good comparison alright, I don't watch much soocer but I did see them against chelsea last wk. Is that a good comparison. Let's agree to disagree on this one, in an even tinier nutshell, I would rather play the worst football know to man and get promoted than say we got beat (which yous did, 3times) by a team that catch and kick it. A happy Easter to you and enjoy the festivities

bobby not much of what you said made sense. anyway, greencastle supporters are on their high horse long before they got promoted. (might i add you have never been in this league ever before). just remember this, greencastle have hopes whereas moortown have memories - there's a big difference bobby and i doubt you will ever have a history like ours

Ok spuds, maybe my sarcasm only makes sense to me, but i'll just sign of with a favourite quote of mine

'People who live in the past are generally afraid to compete in the present, we may have our faults but living in the past isn't one. There's no future in it.'

Wise man say 'People who live in the past are generally afraid to compete in the present, we may have our faults but living in the past isn't one. There's no future in it.'

Whats all this "take a step back from the edge" stuff that comes from Greencastle people, makes me think of these wee men in wellies with their chests stuck out.

Moortownspuds, couldn't agree more with you man.

Bobbyb, I've a better quote for you and your opinions my friend - "Better to remain silent and appear a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Excellent quote my young Greencastle jedi pal Bobby,

However,

"The problem with the future is it turns into the present".

Dellboy..
I think that some people see the Greencastle posters as just a slight wee bit over-enthusiastic
