Bobbyb, Thanks for recognising that none of my posts hve set out to offend anyone from the Castle. Can you say the same about yourself i wonder??

yes i agree greencastle will take a few drubbings next year. Greencastles forward unit is going to be where the improvement is needed, if marty conway was missing for a couple of games we'd be screwed.

Maybe you would care to elaborate on these points regarding the forward line, Your sort of taking a swipe at every other forward on the team/panel bar Martin Conway. Sounds to me like you have a bit of a chip on your shoulder for some reason. You wouldn't need to be from Greencastle to tap into that feeling portrayed by yourself. Its like something Murphys_law would come out with. It was a very damning statement.

you're on the ball early this mornning Mugsy, up early to feed the weans, I'm not long out of bed. I wouldn't say I was taking a swipe, just saying that Marty is really our stand out forward. He scored 1-5 or 6 against moortown and we scored 1-9 in the drawn game I think? where were the scores going to come from that day if he was injured? its far from a damning statement, its in black and white, check the stats. No chip on my shoulder, "forward line is where the improvement will be needed", improvement? Take me to the cross roads to be tarred and feathered (creggan crossroads be handier for you?). There's some great prospects in the forward line for greencastle, but again I will say; we would be screwed without marty

9.55am in the morning is hardly early, Your giving away your age a bit if mammy allows you to lie in to after 3pm whilst others like myself have to get out of bed and go to work at the weekend to be able to feed the waynes. I'm not exactly following you on the creggan cross roads dig - Is that handy to you or something? Do you get your school bus there? I suggest you travel into the u21 game tomorrow to view some of the great prospects that Greencastle have in the forward line before casting doubt on them.

Good lad Bobbyb, Don't forget to do your homework after you've had your evening breakfast. Killyclogher will be wet tomorrow with the weather the way it is today, you'd even have to wonder if it will go ahead or not. At least we'll not get drenched in the stand if it does get the go-ahead.

Game must be in serious doubt. If the burn running beside the pitch gets too high water wont get away. A common occurrence out there

Thats it over now lads.
Moortown beat against Kildress.
Was a tough game considering they had to field without young Hagan.
Hope he makes a speedy recovery and makes it back to the playing field.
Kildress seemed to have the upper hand throughout.
Moortown will be back contending next year no doubt.
Any chance of playing PJ at half back.
IMO he is a better player there, not a midfielder.

Has been a great thread, must be some record DBPC.
Looking forward to the next one.
Slán.

just because urney had a tough time running into end of season why does everyone think they will next season. Ronan Lafferty was suspended for the championship and 7 games this season. the games he did play in we beat moortown, clann na gael, augher, rock and kileeshil. we then drew with eskra and got beat by cookstown by two points and got beat by derrylaughan whenevr he got sent off. for all of this season we were missing influencial corner forward in christopher bogle who will be back next season so i hope we are not fighting to stay out of a relegation battle next year but only time will tell.
