If he was injured they would not have risked him for only 10 mins at the end.
He will be playing alright.

Eskra a gift from god. gortin beat a very very bad killeshil side in a replay. a replay that should never have been. The ref blew up and wanted a draw. anyway gortin won replay. eskra will beat goritn by 5. gortin have 2 half decent players.

mossey and riise. the rest are everage.
mcginn mark riise
and scullion mark mossey and thats the game. no other players after them 2

peter hughes score 8 points.

Cookstown V Greencastle - Cookstown by 2 or 3
Eskra V Gortin - Eskra by 5+

Who is offering Eskra at 2/1? Would definitely take a piece of that. Just buying money!

Greencastle men all very quiet this week. Are use confident for Sunday Mugsys, Watching, Bobby B et al?

Brock lesner, Thanks be to god for the first time this year there is a bit of quiet from the Greencastle camp. Hopefully we do the talking on the field this sunday. The weather forecast appears to be heading in our favour, we managed to beat them in the league in adverse weather conditions so lets hope the skies open for Sunday. The dry day would suit the Fr Rocks better. It will be close and would settle for a low scoring one point vicotry.

Eskra V Gortin is also a tough one to call but I'd weigh in behind the youthful neighbours here. Again it will be close.

Yea keeping the head down this week, not wanting to tempt fate.
Again hoping for a low scoring game, can`t allow 2-17 or anything close to it.
Bad weather should stand to us after all we are from the top of the world up here.
Heres to a good game.

Greencastle and Gortin to go through to the final for me.
Both will be very hard games with very little in them at the end,

Cookstown Vs Eskra Final. Cookstown looking to strong for Greencastle but a shock could be in store but for now im sticking with Cookstown. Eskra are playin and average enough side, seen them play against Kileeshill and they didnt impress me at all.

Eskra to win by at least 4
Cookstown to just edge it by a point or two but im really having doubts Greencastle could really shock Cookstown.

Before all the digs come in about us getting beaten today, i've been drowning my sorrows - Congratulations to Cookstown and best of luck in the final. Gortin will not be easy and will probably take great pleasure in the fact that a win in the championship final will also prevent their great rivals going up to senior in second place. Who could blame them?

Good luck to both teams in the final - its been an enjoyable year.

Very disappointed for the Castle yesterday.
Put in a great effort in the first half against the elements
and to be one up at the half , the signs were good for the second.
Cookstown really clicked at the start of the second,
scoring something like 2-2 early proved to be the killer.
Well done to Cookstown, better team won in the end, no complaints.
I also thought the ref, Sludden, had a good game.
Tough end of year for the lads, with no silverware to show,
but the possibility of senior ball is still there.
That can only be regarded as a massive achievement.
Heads up lads, proud year for yous.
No other team from Greencastle has ever made it to senior,
nice piece of history making.

unless gortin pull off a miracle it will be greencastle playing senior next year.

the harps also need a miracle at the minute to stay in division 2.
